My version of a basic ogre, needs some work.

original thread ↗

Hi recently my friends have agreed that were going to try some home brewed rules. Now I like my ogres to be more like a true fantasy ogre, there is really not that many of them, but for each one they can put up a fight. With our new book we can still get quite a good amount of ogres, with their stats they don't feel ogre like.Trolls have strength five as do minotaur, and for all the fluff about our muscle fat and tough skins we get no bonus saving throw for it.So my question to you is,what would the stats and rules of a 'true' ogre look like. What special rules would he have and how many points should he cost?
A fluffy ogre statline would be as follows IMO.

50 pts each
WS4, BS3, Str5, T4, W4, I2, A4, Ld7

Unit type: Monstrous Infantry

Special rules: Ogre Charge, Fear,

Thick Skinned: The hide of an Ogre is as tough as cured leather, equally able to protect the Ogre from the cold of his homeland or a sword thrust. Ogres have 6+ scaly skin save.

Equipment:

Ogre Bulls: Light armor, Hand weapon. Options as in army book.

Ironguts: Heavy Armor, Great Weapon.

All our characters have Thick Skinned too, but theirs gives them 5+ Scaly Skin.

I would assume this WS4 would not reflect the skill with a weapon but rather the hard time an enemy has at avoiding a swing from an ogre weapon.
I can't see many people getting out of the way fast enough when an ogre swings an I-beam at them.

Grey templar has a pretty "spot-on" stat line there for true fantasy ogres, but I think they might be more along the lines of BS2 and still 50/50+ points each.
There is only news.  There is no good or bad.
Yeah, thats my justification.

Devastating charge special rule aswell as the bull charge would go on there i think
we are da executors for a reason you stand in our way ... you die hahaha
Devestating Charge would be a little much.

And Bull Charge is now called Ogre Charge.
