2000point Doubles lists. Who goes best with Ogres?

Got a little tournament coming up, 2000point doubles, 1000points each, I'll be takeing Ogres but not sure what best to team them with. Got the chose of WoC, Dwarves, Skaven or Highelves?

Anyone got any nice combos with these armys?

I was thinking a heavy scout list with dwarves. 8 maneaters with scout plus 40 rangers and runesmith with scout. Proper hammer and anvil. Then a couple of cannon, couple of sabretusks and a unit of 8 bulls to fill up core.

To open the thred up abit more who IS the best double team with ogres?

I'd go with skaven personally, your units pile on the combat res and his break your opponents steadfast.  Quick kills all around.

I did a no-magic list along side dwarves that worked out very well.  No slaughtermasters or butchers left a lot more troops out there and a very icky Tyrant leading the bunch.  Gnoblars guarding cannon-hills; what would the ancestors think of such a horror!

I played a doubles tournament with ogre/ogre, we won the tournament undefeated out of 18 teams. Double gut horde list with double ironblasters and a tooled up glit/fencers SM each & BSB.
