ok, so the title is a little misleading, it's actually painting bone with one paint and 4 washes...
Unfortunately I don't have step by step pics right now, but you can see the result on my tyrant's gut plate here, the gutplate was done using this method and it's REALLY easy!
step 1: basecoat the area you want to boneify in bleached bone (Duh!)
Step 2: heavily wash the area in badab black wash
step 3: once the black is dry, wash the area in Devlan mud wash
step 4: once again, waiting for the wash to dry, repaint the higher areas of the bone in bleached bone (for example, on a skull, the forehead, eye ridges, nose ridges etc)
step 5: once the paint is dry, wash the area with Thraka green (it will look very green at this stage, but don't panic!)
step 6: once the green is dry, wash the area with Gryphonne Sepia.
Final step: reapply the highlights as before.
I'm getting my batallion soon, so I'll get some pics for you all then!
