Hello fellow Ogre lovers,
I have finally gotten off my lazy backside and decided to put finger to keyboard and chronicle my Ogre tribes meteoric rise to mediocrity.
I don't have much in the way of fluff or army theme so far, but I have a list and a basic paint scheme. So, without further ado, here is my Gnoblog.
The Brew-Gut tribe:
Slaughtermaster: Crown of Command, Talis of Preservation, Lvl 3 LotGM - 165 slaves
Bruiser: Armor of Fortune, BSB, Iron Fist - 84.5 slaves
15 Ironguts: Std/Mus, Std of Discipline - 340 slaves
3 Maneaters: 3 Brace of Ogre Pistol, Scout/Poison - 93 slaves
3 Mournfangs: Heavy Armor, Iron Fist, Std, Dragon Hide Banner - 135 slaves
Sabretusk: 10.5 slaves
Ironblaster: 85 slaves
Ironblaster: 85 slaves
Total: 998 slaves
This list is by no means meant to be rock solid, but I also would not consider it to be a soft list. It offers a pretty simple playstyle,
which I enjoy as i tend to knock back a few cold ones while I play (hence the tribe name). Ironguts hold the center in horde formation with stubborn from the crown. Maneaters deploy in scout to hunt warmachines or smaller flanking units. Mournfangs ride up in support of the Ironguts and the Ironblasters look for juicy targets. Keep it simple stupid. This method works best for me because I have an uncanny ability to forget very important things at very important times.
Here is a pic of my color scheme so far. I tend to gravitate toward earthy tones in my armies. I use mostly greens, browns and grays.
The lighting has washed out a bit of coloring on the skin. Always enjoy CC.

And some more WIPs

Thats it for now. I'll keep you posted.
