Hello, and welcome to my gnoblog.
Basically, the maneatereaters are a tribe of ogres that think that ogres should not sell themselves out as mercenaries to lesser races in order to gain money or food. They believe that this is not what the maw would want. Therefore, the maneatereaters scour the land searching for these traitors, and along the way get many fights (and snacks!). Their leader, Trollfag the maneatereatereatereatereater, Golfag's twin, has gained his power by devouring the previous Dumbo the maneatereatereatereater, who gained his power by devouring Bobo the maneatereatereater, who gained his power by devouring Jock the maneatereater, who gained his power by devouring Vick the maneater, a leader of a maneater tribe, who gained his power by winning a game of rock-paper-scissors. Anyways, enough fluff. Let's get on to the army!
First, here's my slaughtermaster, Brag the Gutsman. After nobody included him in his army list, Bragg became the apprentice of a slaughtermaster and learned the arts of something useful: casting magic. He then traded in his old and little known Great Gutgorger for the more famous Grut's Sickle from a guy who thought that heroic killing blow and +1 strength was better. He then attached it to a chain on a stick so it would look cooler and so he would fight better with it. Bragg then joined this tribe because the pretty much all the people using him thought maneaters were better and dumped him from their lists. He is now seeking revenge.

Next comes Trollfag. He tries to look like Golgfag because he wants to gain trust from other maneaters in order to stab them in the back, which is pretty easy considering he is Golgfag's twin. It doesn't always work out for him, though... Wich in those cases, he has his army for backup.

Next is comes my butcher. We caught him hiring himself out to the empire, those wretches!, but we figured we could use another wizard, and since he begged for mercy, we let him join us. He has had fun worshiping the maw instead of empire statues, he says. His name is Greg:

Next comes Kono, the battle standard bearer. He carries the head of a maneater that was hired out to some minotaurs and developed a weird head mutation by magic or nature, maybe both. Anyways, we think it has magical properties as it growls sometimes:

Next is Trollfag's cousin, Carrot. When Carrot heard that he got free snacks and polishing for his huge weapon, he joined the party. He has decent leadership skills as well, so sometimes he joins the battle when Trollfag is to lazy to fight. They are very high up in the tribe, though, so they only come out for some of the most important battles:

Finally comes another one of our "wizards", Halapanyo. Halapanyo is something like a gardener to us, but instead of gardening, he kills stuff, as the butcher is too busy studying the activity of the Maw. He used to not do much, but one day Halapanyo found some magical seeds. He thought they were useless and threw them to the ground. But, after a great storm the following day, a magical pepper plant grew. He tried eating one and suddenly his mouth burst into flames! Literally! Now, he occasionally uses his fire magic to help us on the field of battle:

Now onto our units. First comes the manslaughterers. They come from various places, but they all hate the idea of selling yourself out, so they have joined the tribe and slaughter both men and maneaters. You can also see Greg, Bragg, and Kono in there. The unit needs some patronage on the field of battle, after all:

After various hunts, we eventually gathered these guys. They were working for some dwarfs and learned how to specialize in these huge weapons, such as the one Carrot has. They seemed pretty good at fighting and begged for mercy and we decided to keep them. We call them BW's, for big weapons.

After various pillages, we began to collect various weapons such as guns. We just decided to give them to some manslaughterers. They took a liking to them and now serve us a lot on the field of battle. We call them mangunners:

(Some cats that Halapenyo found ripped up the side and back pictures).
Next comes our infamous "manblasters". We found these cannons lying in a ditch and decided to use them. Some mangunners took a liking to the even bigger guns, and we found out that they can hurt stuff:

That's our army for now, but we are in the progress of training some more mangunners. They should be ready soon!

Facing ogres is like facing an avalanche.
