Tyrant One-Eye Greegun Garchop was well known in his old tribe as the best shot around. He was invited to nearly every feast hosted by the Goldtooth tribe for exhibition events, most of which including impressive skill shots, and gruesome gnobblar death. Eventually Greegun grew bored, and decided to put his skills to the test as a maneater, with much success. He was never once wounded in battle until his work inevitably pit him against the Norscan tribes in the north.
In his very first battle against the warbands of chaos, his left eye was gouged out when he assumed an exalted hero of Nurgle would be dead after getting the brains blown out of the back of his head by a point black shot to the face. Instead of switching shooting hands, he has continued on firing with his left. Amazingly, he still hits most of his targets.. Usually.
After this unfortunate turn of events, Greegun found luck turning in his favor. Apparently, some people will pay very well for chaos armor and equipment. The young maneater quickly exploited this fact as much as he could, filling whole carts with various suits of armor and weapons, and selling them all in the places he visited.
Greegun returned home at last, a very wealthy ogre indeed.
Welcome to my gnoblog! Here I'll be posting.. Well, whatever I feel like I suppose! Mostly my conversions and paint jobs. My main goal is to create an army with personality, using little to no greenstuff. I hope this can give you some inspiration, and since most of my conversions are simple kit-bahsing with little to no greenstuffing, it should appeal to beginners, and show what you can do with just a little creativity and some glue.. And lots and lots of bits!

This is Greegun Garchop, The Tyrant of the Armor Eaters tribe. I think the Paymaster Maneater is probably my favorite model in the entire Ogre Kingdoms lineup, almost entirely because of that kickass coat. He is pretty basic, and was my very first attempt at using greenstuff. I cut off his left hand and replaced it with the pistol hand from the mournfang cavalry box. his right arm and sword are both from the mournfang cavalry box as well, with a bit of greenstuff to attach the arm to the body. and lastly, his shoulder-pad is a gutplate from the battalion box. Really simple to do, with awesome results. I've been considering giving him a hat of some sort, but I'm afraid of messing it up.

Really super basic hunter conversion. I used the leftover bits from my Thundertusk box, and added it to a normal ogre body. His left arm and the horn he is carrying is from the mournfang box. The rest is just bits you can get from the battalion or Ogre Bulls box. Probably one of the easiest kit bashes to do, and it looks better than the actual hunter model. No greenstuff required.

A blind monk maneater! This is my big project using greenstuff, and I think it turned out okay. everything I used here can be found in an Ogre box or battalion set. It started out as a butcher conversion, then.. I dont really know what happened, but its pretty damn cool!

Another one of my personal favorites. Its The Ransomer maneater! He captures or kidnaps all manner of people and then sells them off for a profit! What a clever ogre. He loves to watch the tiny humans squirm as he gnaws on his previous victims bones during negotiations, a warning as to what happens if they dont pay up! This guy was made from a whole bunch of different bits. The chest for holding his payment was taken from the Ironblaster/Scraplauncher kit, his left arm is a bellowers arm from the ogre/battalion box, his gutplate is from an Irongut box, his head is a Leadbelcher bellowers head, his right arm is a hunters arm that is supposed to have a Blood Vulture perched on it which I got from the Stonehorn/Thundertusk kit, and lastly the tied up empire guy is also from the Stonehorn/Thundertusk kit. No greenstuff required.

The gnobblar crewed Ironblaster! I know this one is hard to make out, but there are a total of 8 gnobblars here, one of them is out of view. Very little kit-bashing was needed to make this. Essentially I just used the Scraplauncher gnobblars on the Ironblaster, with a few more gnobblars from the battalion box added in for flavor. The gnobblar on top of the cannon with the torch is from the leadbelchers kit, and there are two on the center platforrm, one is holding a powder keg, he is also from the leadbelcher kit, and the other is a lookout gnobblar posed to look like he is screaming at the one holding the powder keg. No greenstuff required. Honestly the whole reason I made this is so I could use the ogre that was supposed to be crewing it for something else..

And what a good use I put him to! This is my Nurgle maneater! I've also used him as a butcher of death. He just sorta showed up one day. He never says much, and most of the other ogres think he's pretty weird, but none of them are really willing to say it to his face. He has a bag full of plague-ridden skulls that he likes to throw at people during battle, and the corpses killed by him are usually the only ones left uneaten after the victory feast.. This guy is made of a whole mess of things as well. His gutplate, ironfist, and half of his weapon are all from the mournfang box (the mournfang box is FULL of awesome bits, get a few). His body, head, and the bull-purse he is wearing are all from the Ironblaster kit. He has a turtleshell type thing on his back that is one of those massive armor plates leftover from the Stonehorn/Thundertusk kit. His right shoulderpad I think is actually a black orc shield that I had lying around for some reason (waste not). And his weapon is mostly made of one of the great weapons in the mournfang cavalry box, except I cut off the top and replaced it with a rusted blade from a lance I got from a Chaos Knight kit. Pretty elaborate setup, but still no greenstuff required.

My first ever ogre conversion! This leadbelcher was always the runt of the bunch, and was the other bulls favorite punching bag for a very long time. Eventually he stopped hanging around other ogres altogether, preferring the company of gnobblars, where he was the big one, and they were small. Ever since then he has gained the title of Gnobblar Master, and the next time one of the ogres fancied beating the pulp out him, he found himself swarmed with tiny little bodies holding sharp rocks.. Everything needed to make this guy you can find in a battalion box, with one exception. There are a total of five gnobblars on this model, but only four are visible here. all of them you can find in the leadbelcher kit except for the one holding the club, and the lookout gnobblar in his little stand. His gutplate is from an Irongut set, and the chain and hook that is securing the lookout gnobblars perch is from a flail I found in a Char Marauders box, but it isnt really necessary, I just thought it looked cool. No greenstuff required

I went with a really simplistic look on this one, hes just an Irongut with a mournfang great weapon. Nothing special, I just like him. No greenstuff required, but I added a little to fill a gap between his wrist and left hand.

Another simple one, an Irongut musician with a mournfang horn and great weapon. No greenstuff required.

This guy is a bit more complicated. He's my BSB. His head, flag, and gun are all from the Mournfang cavalry Kit. The gun was not attached to hand, I had to do a little clipping and gluing to get it on there correctly, and it still doesnt look particularly good. I added an Irongut great weapon club to the bottom of the flag there so he can smash people with it if he feels like. his gutplate is an Irongut one. No greenstuff required.

This guys a Gutlord. Another really simple but awesome looking kit-bash. His gutplate, right arm, and the weapon it is holding are both normal Irongut bits, while the gun and head are from the Mournfang box (did I mention how awesome the Mournfang bits are?). No greenstuff required, but I used a little bit to fill a gap.

Another chaos ogre. This one is a Irongut standard bearer. I used a Chaos Marauder shield as his gutplate, and his collar is a modified chaos banner. His right arm has been cut off, and I used some greenstuff to make it look like he shoved a blade into into his stump to use as a weapon. The blade itself is the tip of a chaos lance from a Chaos Knight kit.

This is an Ogre Crusher. He's just decked out with Irongut bits, nothing special, I just like him. No greenstuff required.
Thanks for checking out my gnoblog my fellow ogres! Thats all I've got for now. I'll post more when I've got some ogres painted up. Hope I didnt torture you with my inconsistent grammar. Comments and criticisms are encouraged!
