I hope this is the right place for this, mods obviously move/remove if you feel it is inappropriate.
My name is Michael Brown and when not war-gaming I am a researcher at University of Nottingham. Im currently exploring collecting information about peoples attitudes towards maps, navigation aids and geospatial information in general via an online survey. As a form of motivation Ive arranged for £2 to be donated to charity via Karnival, for every person that completes the questionnaire. The survey is capped at 250 respondents, so if I can get enough people well raise £500 for charity.
Karnival is the University of Nottingham's student-run charitable organisation, and the largest one of its kind in Europe. Last year Karnival and the students of Nottingham University raised a staggering £1.3 million for charity, following its success of being the first of its kind to raise over £1 million in 2009. All of this money is raised voluntarily by students and goes directly to some of the countrys largest and best-known charities, as well as smaller charitable trusts based in and around Nottingham.
It should take 15 to 20 minutes to complete and anyone can do it.
