Tallarn Flesh substitute

What is a good substitute for Tallarn flesh?  In GW colors and non GW colors.

With Citadel colours you could substitute it with 50/50 Dwarf Flesh/Skull White, I suppose. Maybe a bit less White, you would have to play around to find something roughly equal.

It won't have the same high pigmention Tallarn Flesh has though, so I have to ask: Why do you want to substitute it?

Because I dont have any and need to finish some Ogres.

I hear that Vallejo Game Color Heavy Skintone or Vellejo Model Color Brown Sand is a good match.

How close is Tausept Ochre to a match?

No problem and about your other question, tausept ochre is really yellow while tallarn is fleshy.

If you have an Android phone, there is a free app on the market called Paint Converter. It finds the equivalent colour between Citadel, Vallejo Game colour, Vallejo Model colour and Reaper Master colour paints. Very handy.

Now that Games Workshop have stopped making Tallarn Flesh what are people using for Ogre skin? I'm just about to start painting my first model and want to get the right paint.
