Ok. Don't go for the twin plasma rifle setup. Although you will be making sure that marines won't get a save, the twin linked option is not worth wasting an extra slot on it. The tried and tested setup is called fire-knife. Plasma rifle, missile launcher, multi tracker.
You don't want to split your fire. Especially against marines. Because they can regroup even under half strength you need to wipe them out completely. Use the missile launchers against  armour, with the extra range in the first two turns, then everything at whatever gets out.

Drop the command option from the broadsides. There is no benefit.

See if you can work in transports for you fire warriors. They will need it to get anywhere. Otherwise you are giving up two of the three scenarios.

Farsighted can take 7 bodyguards. So max it up.

Tactically against marines, take out transports first, as a walking marine is easier to deal with. Then concentrate on assault squads. Keep your distance, and use the jump in the assault phase to get back in cover.

As a marine player - the combo of Broadsides, crisis suits, devilfish, pirannahs, and ion cannons hurt. Firewarriors rarely do anything to me, other than ride around in devilfish and blow me up.
