ASF buffing ASL?

Hi guys,

First of course, Merry Christmas!

I was playing with a mate using VCs and was wondering what happens when GG with GW are buffed with ASF from the light magic deck? Do they become ASF or just strike at initiative order? I ask because I think high elves always strike first with GW because they have the ASF rule?

Initiative order, only High Elves can ignore the Weapon penalties cos of Speed of Asuryan, everyone else has to make do with the standard rules, ASF + ASL = Initiative order :>

A Ogluk says, it is initiative order.
Check out the special rules for ASF/ASL in the main rule book. It states it there.

The very important part that is being missed here is the CANNON rules do not say slow to fire. The WARMACHINE rules say slow to fire.

You are still using the BRB rules but your only using the relevant part. Many people are interjecting their own ideas that firing like a cannon is synonymous with being a warmachine, which it is not.

I don't really care either way it's a great unit but if your gonna discuss the rules atleast discuss the actual rules.
