Stronghold Guard Wildcard had the opportunity to chat with wargaming legend Jervis Johnson at Warhammer World in Nottingham over the weekend (must've had his Luck Gnoblar with him!) and he managed to glean some info about the upcoming Ogre Kingdoms FAQ:

"FAQ for Ogres is now ready and should be out next week.

They are going to rule that an Ironfist IS armour, but does NOT allow access to magical armour for Butchers/Slaughtermasters."

Did we get any news as to how the Hellheart is going to be FAQed?

Anything about Stand and Shoot with the IB?

Given that the ruling for iron fists contradicts very clear raw in the rule book, I think we know the answers to those questions already.

I'm more than happy that he was wrong! :) :)

Mind you, now that that greedy fist works at range, I might not go back anyway!!  Can't believe they did that one.  Firebelly with a greedy fist is now quite worth thinking about.

That is a nasty greedy fist now..I can't see many mages running out of units or else thats pretty much BAM lvl 0.

and WOOT for good old runemaw back more or less.

Indeed!  A lot of potential there for enemy wizard smashing!  Great news that the butchers can take Armour and I am glad the slaughter masters can have great weapons now, that did seem silly that they couldn't.

Interesting that there is nothing regarding Hell heart.  They must be happy with it.  I know we are.   :D
