I just realized I should have started my thread here so I will be continuing my army blog here.
And here is day 4, I have the skull he is standing on left to finish, so i will be clear coating him tomorrow before i start work on the other pieces.

How'd you do the horn?

Thanks! Starting from the gut working out i did bleached bone, bestial brown: bleached bone, bestial brown, scorched brown, black. I then worked from the tip back in with those colors just dry brushing over the lighter stage to blend.

Well day 4 and 5 came and went with very little being done except cleanup and adding the magnet to his back. The next pic's i will be posting will be of him completed.

Well day 6 has been a success in my opinion. Just applied the clear coat before the picture so the shine hasn't faded yet from the wet matt finish. I did add a slightly brighter red to the pants to add a little extra highlighting.

Wow, Golgfag looks great! I especially like the pants, and the Dragon Blade which turned out really good! Backbanner is good as well, you can call it a success for sure!

I've come to realize that taking pictures of my miniatures makes me realize where i messed up. I definately need to fix his sword hand and upper lip at the least.

finish golgfag and started on a firebelly, night one so far. Pleased with the upper back but i defiantly need to work on the chest.

day 2 of the firebelly, did some touching up on the shading of the front and added details to the fire / nails on his hands and feet.

its been a few days since i posted but i've been ever so slowly working on it. this as far as i've gotten for the night.

Other than a tattoo i feel he is finished.

Its been a long time. Trying to decide if i want to continue painting or not as games workshop no longer sells dwarf flesh which was used in several layers of my ogres flesh and i'm having trouble mixing a match up myself.



at work and will post what i have of the ogre when i get home.
