His list consisted of 2 trebuchets, 2 units of peasant bowmen. 2 units of knights with a few paladins and a BSB and his general on a Pegasus.
Turn 1 and turn 2 were mostly just moving forward from both sides with my taking trebuchet fire and loosing a few gores here and there and 1 of my sabre tusks fleeing from a knight charge. As well as my Ironblaster missfiring it's first shot and being unable to fire for 2 turns. My Gnoblars had moved ahead to try and draw his units out or simply get in the way!
Turn 3 saw one of his units of Knights charging my gnoblars and loosing 3/9 to dangerous terrain! The knights won combat but didn't over run into my Bull unit. Amusing they ran into a fence and lost another knight to dangerous terrain! He had also flew his lord behind my lines and set up the other knight unit for a flank charge to a possible charge on the above knights
My turn 3 saw my other Sabre tusk charging 1 of his trebuchets (long charge) and my Ironguts charging the weakend Knights unit. The Sabre tusk promptly destroyed the Trebuchet with the added bonus of panicking the nearby bowmen towards my Firebelly and lead belchers.!
The Ironguts promptly Slaughtered the knight unit and reformed ready to receive the charge from the other unit of knights.
Also of note my other sabre tusk rallied! And the Ironblaster had picked off a knight from the other knight unit.
Turn 4 saw my Irongut unit get charged in the front from the knights and his lord in the flank. Shooting was pretty much nothing. So we went to combat. His lord challenged (he had heroic killing blow) I accepts with my champion who only lost 1 wound. The rest of the combat from the knights amounts to taking 3 wounds and loosing 1 ogre. The Ironguts then struck back and killed all but 1 of the knights! Amusingly the lone knight held but the lord actually Fled!
My Turn 4 saw my leadblechers charge the fleeing bowmen forcing them to flee more and my free ogre unit do the same to the lord. Both of who ran got away from the chargers. The lord had fled close to the Sabretusk (rallied from last turn) who also charged the lord but actually caught and killed him! (poor guy). The Ironguts finished off the knight and reformed.
Turn 5 saw my opponent rally the bowmen near the lead belchers and pretty much just do some random shooting which missed.
With most of my units too far away from the remaining trebuchet and bowmen they simply moved to make harder targets of them selfs. The fire belly came out of the lead belchers for a flank breath attack on the archers that just rallied, while the belchers moved to point blank range. The breath hit all but 1 archer amounting to 17 hits! Killing around 10 11i think. The leadies finished off the rest. My ironblaster did manage to hit and wound the remaining trebuchet but only done 1 wound oh well.
My opponent decided to concede here. With my only losing my unit of Gnoblars giving my opponent 55pts. He only had 1 unit of archers left and 1 trebuchet . Roughtly amounting his army to over 200pts left on the table giving me a comfortable 1200 +
Massacre for the ogres!
My opponent was very sporting and it was a comical game for both sides.
