Ogre Tunes

Hey everyone,

Not sure if this belongs in this category - What kind of music puts you in the mood for ogres?

Gonna have marathon painting session today and I need music inspiration   

Here's a good one, IMO - Motörhead's Eat the Rich.

Hmmm, I for one don't always pick music that feels army specific, but last night I worked on my ogres for a while and in that time I listened to Dvorak, The Vandals, and The Real Mckenzies. I guess if we go with 2 of 3 and give that Dvorak was already in the player then my ogres seem to have drawn on my punk collection.

The LotR soundtrack is always a classic IMO, nothing gets me in more of a motivated mood than hearing some of that stuff. Works for studying cellular biology too 

I think my recording of a bunch of fat guys yelling and screaming does the job quite nicely. I had to edit out the wheezing and coughing as it isn't very Ogre-like, but otherwise its exactly how ogres sound.

I'm a little weird I know. But i can almost see my Tyrant sitting in the middle of the battle field singing.

While empire thrust their spears into his gut, and him shrugging them off then bashing their heads in like it was nothing. I think it's the perfect song for them.

Oh man.  This brought tears to my eyes.  Haven't laughed like that in some time.  Perhaps my slaughtermaster will have to be converted to carry an inhaler.

Another good soundtrack that I though of is the 300 one, specifically the Immortal fight number. Gives me the chills every time.

Yodeling is perfect. The sound of ironshod feet, the thundering pads of Bear-cats, and the yodeling of the Ogres. Many are the thinlings that this has been the last thing they hear.

I just bellow over whatever music my opponent puts on...

you want some good loud folk metal, try some equilibrium or eisfariam.
