Aaaand varnishing is done. Handing them over to the store tomorrow. I have started painting the islands and other stuff, but I'll be away for a week now so won't be updating until I'm back.
It was a terrible, indescribable thing vaster than any subway train—a shapeless congeries of protoplasmic bubbles, faintly self-luminous, and with myriads of temporary eyes forming and un-forming as pustules of greenish light all over the tunnel-filling front that bore down upon us, crushing the frantic penguins and slithering over the glistening floor that it and its kind had swept so evilly free of all litter.

Yay! I won the painting competition :)

Congrats! From the time and effort you put into painting them I would say it is well deserved. The terrain/islands are looking nice as well.

Actually I really enjoyed painting the ruler. I thought it would be a bit dull, but it turned out to be very relaxing after batch painting all those cliffs.

DONE!!! Everything in the box is painted up, and I'm extremely tired of dreadfleet :roll:

What it looks like when you squeeze an entire boardgame (excluding the board) into a tiny photospace and take a picture with no proper lighting at all:

Now, it's all off to eBay (taking better pictures first ofcourse). Hopefully I can at least get back the money I paid for it :lol: Keep an eye out for the link in the gnoblar market if you are interested!

Great job though. I've only assembled mine so far.  :oops:
I'd like to, but it was so expensive… Plus, I don't really have anyone to play with, I'd have to convince my friends who don't care about wargames at all, so it would probably just stand and gather dust :roll:
