ooo Hope I can particiapate in a cool tournament under the new rules. Can't wait until the stuff comes out.

I'm actually going to wait until October (the 15th is my birthday)..  also I expect a gift card or two to Borders, so that will probably be it.

Just about everyone in my club is going to get it in September, so I'm not going to miss out for too long.

I'm having a Hall of Heroes with the new rules on septembre 24th. As soon as the clock hits midnight on septembre 8th. The book shall be in my hands and even at cost price
I will be play testing alot games before and there will be alot of posting on the ogre stronghold forum.

I should soon recieve my copy of the Collectors Edition rulebook. Can't wait to get my grubby hands upon it...

went out and bought Skull Pass for the school club I run - grabbed the rulebook for a read from there

I went to pick up my copy of the Rulebook, and was allowed to look through a copy of the NEW ORCS AND GOBLINS BOOK! 

I'm sorry if everyone else has seen this already, but the GW store in Melbourne never seems to get anything ahead of time, so I was really surprised and impressed. It's not as good as the old book, but looks like it will play a little more smoothly. Special Characters are part of the standard Army List section now, which is odd...

Yes! It's sunday!

I too have had a look through the new O&G rulebook, accopanied with several O&G players. From what I could tell the major changes were:

• Wallopa's Wun Hit Wunda: the 1 hit u get is S10
• Drog's Dead 'Ard Armour no longer exists
• Gobbos are now 3pts
• Special characters no longer have their own special section. And u dont need ur opponent's permission to use them anymore! (there is a SWEET new model of, I think, Gorbad Ironclaw)

A young Ogre and his pet Gnoblar climb up a steep slope towards the noise, and lay eyes upon the Ogre Stronghold for the first time.

I've been gone for awhile and wow, lots of great updates.

Whoops, I've let some of you see the website before I'm ready to declare it open for business.  Forgot to change that heading link on the intro page

Ah well, I've changed it so it just leads to the forum for now - I've got a bit more work to do tonight before I'm opening the new website to the masses.

The few of you who've had a look already must have a horde of Luck Gnoblars following you around

no kyte - our overtyrant has hidden it for now as he'd still working on it - I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse, but I'm also sworn to secrecy   it's cool though, very cool!

Yep, my pet gnoblar guided me to the new home page. 
It looked great Hragged, can't wait till it's officially open for buisness.

The next morning, the young Ogre and his Gnoblar eventually made their way to the Ogre settlement surrounding the Stronghold.
The city was the hive of activity he had heard it to be, with the first feasts of the day already well underway. The main Ogre camp was centered around the entrance to the mountain fortress where many Tribes had set up their huge tents, and a labyrinth of wooden buildings forming a Gnoblar shanty town had been built up around the Ogres to house the thousands of Gnoblar servants in their employ.

The Ogre now started towards the Gates of the impressive Stronghold...

ok, I've seen it too (as a master of "the Wicked", I'm good at finding hidden links) I must say that it's far better than before. Avian and Ikim has got some nice stuff though I can't reveal what.

I can't seem to find my guide though. Is it meant to be gone?

Well I am looking forward to the change and the new look, even if my luck gnoblar was playing with scorpions at the time when others got a sneak peek

I even changed my avatar settings in anticipation for the new Stronghold!

Displays the five most recent posts on the Stronghold forum, keeping website browsers up to date as to what is going on in the Stronghold community as they browse the various website pages.

T-shirts button
You'll be able to buy Ogre Stronghold t-shirts by clicking on this button, but for now it'll take you to an area of the forum where you can register your interest in Stronghold t-shirts.

Submissions form
Allows anyone to submit links, articles and general feedback via a simple form found in the new 'Contact the Overtyrant' section.

Home page animation
A flash animation depicting the Ogre Stronghold itself!

Yup, Google ads have been removed from both the website and the forum.


Still to come:

• Lots of new articles (and all the old ones will be back too, I just have to convert them all over)
• New Gallery software which will allow Stronghold members to upload their images directly to the website
• A new Chat Room
• A downloads section containing many cool Ogre related downloads
• I have to modify the forum to make it look more like the main website
• Lots more stuff (content, images, and code tweaks)

I should have everything complete over the next couple of days now that the majority of the hard work is done. My aim with the Stronghold, as always, is to give you guys one of the greatest and most feature rich Warhammer websites on the net. It's been a real pleasure being your Overtyrant over the last couple of years, and long may the Ogre Stronghold continue!

Crackin' revamp - nicely done

I must admit hragged and the staff did a fine job on the modifications made here. This website/forum is by far well organized, user friendly, friendly users and filled with updated rules and faq. Let this forum be a good example for other one's out there.

Very nice work, this website just keeps getting better.

I'd like to say to Hragged, thanks a lot, you've realy kept on going with this site, not just letting it fall by the wayside. It is in my experiance by far the most user friendly and well designed WH sites around. Best of all, although we are all Ogres here(and proud of it) the community in general is great.
