Another question that came up in a game recently was whether each of the harpoon launcher, chain trap, and Sphere of frost wreathed ice shots could target different units?

Nope, unless it gets errata'd. Nothing lets the 'Tusk target multiple units with shooting, though perhaps it should.
I don't suffer from mental instability. In fact, I enjoy it immensely.
