Hey All,

Getting back into the hobby after taking off most of 7th edition. I live in primarily a "40K town" so when WHFB happens at my LGS it tends to be ~1500 points.

If I take a Slaughtermaster at that point total can I get away with leaving him as a level 3 caster or does everyone suggest always upgrading him to level 4? (The saved points will go towards purchasing my Bruiser BSB some much needed magic items).

A fifth pet gnoblar?!? So that's George and Gracie; the twins Bud and Lou and their newest friend Groucho.

On a more serious note, point taken - I try to keep me character points low so at 1500 I was planning on running a level 3 SM with Glittering Scales, Earthing Rod and maybe the Ironcurse Icon

If I have time later I'll thow up the full list for review.
