Question about Skrag

original thread ↗

If he had his hands cut off when he was thrown into the pit, how did he find his blades and stick them into his stumps?

He had no hands.

I think he would hold the blades with his legs them slam his stumps into the blades or have gnoblars to help. Thats my guess.

I'm going with chuck norris, it seems as reasonable of an answer as any other.

I'm pretty sure it had more about that in the old book, if not the above post sounds like the best  8)

So he crawled about biting at the ground until he found them?

...yup...  I can see him just eating random chunks of who knows what until he happens on the meat hooks.
My guess is the gorgers, after he ripped apart the "leader" with his MOUTH!!

"Hey, guys...?  Ummmm.. I could really use your help jamming a hook into this stump and a knife into the other...  Can you help a brother out??  If you don't, I'll rip you apart with my TEETH!!"

that's all I got..
My wife says I cheat at games; I don't cheat, I just don't learn all the rules!

Just how things are 'round here.  I can dig it.

Maybe the tyrant that butchered his hands threw them on their as part of his torment.  Or Skragg just used his magical talent to conjure them up somehow.

The Tyrant just tossed him in the pit right?  They were probably hanging off his belt along with a hundred other tools.  Stabbing them in would take some work but... knees, mouth, arm-stumps, and a good crevasse in the cave wall... I can see it.
Speaking of Skrag, has anyone noticed from the army list description that Skrag allows you to take Gorgers with a "unit size of 1-2", not to mention no limit on duplications for Gorgers?  Of course, the point cost per Gorger is on the high side.  What do you all think about having a unit of two Gorgers?
Just because we're Ogres doesn't mean we don't have to spell... or share our secrets about how to shove sharp metal into our arm stumps once our hands have been cut off!

None of us Mods enforce strict grammar and spelling as no-one is perfect (me included).
But when you don't use capitals at the start of a sentence it just shows lack of effort, plus 'im' isn't a word.
We aren't going to jump on you for mispelling a word or a missing comma, but a bit of effort isn't too much to conjur up.

The Stronghold is a great quality relaxed site, we aim to keep it that way.

So he crawled about biting at the ground until he found them?

No.
As Gutchef says, he managed to see off a pack of Gorgers and make them follow him by ripping the leader's throat out with his teeth, sans weapons/hands.
Surely he could easily ram weapons into his stumps with the help of Gorgers after doing over a tribe.
