Hellheart being used and causing my opponents Grey Seer to roll a 4 on the miscast chart, then he rerolled with earthing rod and rolled snake eyes. It killed the unit and when it came time to roll on the chart to see if the Grey Seer Vanished, he did xD

a, When I charged a hydra with 4 mournfangs, finding out that you could not hit the "handlers" anymore, resulting in me loosing combat and getting run down.
b, Me forgetting half of my shooting stuff.
c, My unbelivable luck with the rolls in the later parts of the games that actually made me the winner.

There were quite a few actually... a) Leadbelchers Taking 2 turns of shooting to kill 1-2 models, then flee from a charge to force failed charge and the poor leadies never rallied... b) Final Mournfang on his final wound winning combat against Priest + 2 Kroxigors + skinks and running them down c) Level 1 Firebelly, throwing 2 dice on the FIRST SPELL of the game (fireball), box cars, kills one model and loses his casting level

ogres are the boulder rolling down at you. you can side step it, run away from it or blow it up before it gets to you... but you can never ignore it.

2200 Tournament on Sep 4, 3 Rounds 1st game, Lizards with no Slann, Definite win for Ogres, Memorable event? Stonehorn failing the frenzy check when i didn't want to charge, forcing the 4 pteranadons to flee off the board from Terror, then dying to 6 failed 4+ saves from skinks...
2nd game, High Elves with Teclis, Minor Win for Ogres, Memorable event: 8 hits, 8 wounds versus Teclis from Sniper Maneaters turn 1. But not before the Firebelly taking 9 wounds from Teclis Death Magic.
3rd Game, Warriors of Chaos, Minor Win for Ogres, Memorable event: Tzeentch Sorcerer making my unit of bulls attack itself, causing a total of 1 wound, miscasting and losing that spell forever!
3000 point game vs Dwarves, Ended in a Draw. Memorable moment: the Special Anvil of Doom Succeeding in 17 consecutive 3+ Armor saves, and lasting until the end of the game.
I polled my FLGS for what color I should paint my ogres...
Out of 20 votes, I had 19 abstain, 1 vote for hot pink. Now I have hot pink ogres.

1: Skaven 2: Skaven 3: 1000 4: The most memoriable thing in game, was basically that I failed every Ld check, charge, flee, hit, wound, save roll. The maw wasnt on my side that day.

1) Lizardmen army with Slann and 3 Stegadons, including an Engine of the Gods. 2) Draw in a Meeting Engagement - almost exactly equal victory points. 3) 2000 points 4) Several highlights: (a) My Bruiser killing two of the Stegadons - one normal and one ancient - in close combat. (b) The Slann miscasting on turn two and blowing up, killing ten Temple Guard and leaving my Slaughtermaster and Firebelly free to wreak havoc. (c) The Stonehorn failing to restrain Frenzy and charging a unit of skink skirmishers that fled, leaving it open to a charge from the Engine Stegadon. It lost, and fled, but took the Stegadon down to 1 wound... it was an epic battle of prehistoric beasties.
This was my first game with the new book (and first ever with Ogres, actually!) My army was as follows: * Slaughtermaster (Level 4) * Bruiser with great weapon * Firebelly (Level 2) * 6 Ogres with Ironfists and full command * 6 Ogres with additional hand weapons and full command * 6 Ironguts with full command * 2 units of 3 Leadbelchers * Ironblaster * Stonehorn

1.Dark Elves 2.Dark Elves 3.2500 4.Positive moment-mournfangs killing the "no way you'l kill that" cauldron in 1 turn on the charge. Negative moment-repeater Xbowmen slaughtering my "no way I can lose" maneaters in cc and breaking and running them down.
1. Brettonians 2. Brettonians 3. 2500 4. Hellheart sucks lvl2 into the warp kills some peasants and makes enemy lvl4 forget dwellers and kills 2 grail knights.
1.WoC 2.Ogres 3.2500 4.Mournfangs charge midsize unit of warriors (who had been irresistably curse of the midnight winded by my level 4 who blew up casting it) killing enough to knock out steadfast, breaking them overrunning into shrine #1, breaking it next round, overrunning into shrine #2 breaking it and running it down and opponent conceded. Only 1 mournfang died. Hellheart sucked a lvl 2 nurgle with puppet into the warp and made another lvl2 nurgle forget all his spells.

1. High Elves 2. Ogres 3. 500 points (escalation league) 4. Double charging his spearmen block with the Bulls + Bruiser and the Ironguts. Both were long shots but I figured even if I failed I was in prime charge range for charging next turn. Rolled box cars for the Bulls, and 11 for the Ironguts. Lots of dead elves ensued.
1. High Elves 2. Ogres 3. 500 points (escalation league) 4. Again lucky charge distances, this time the Ironguts in his flank rolled 10 for charge distance, again many dead elves ensued.
1. Lizardmen 2. Lizardmen 3. 500 points (escalation league) 4. Bulls charging his 15 strong unit of Saurus. Causing 7 wounds, he saved 5 on a 5+, and a 6th on a parry. I end up losing by 2 points of CR because my 5 bulls caused 1 wound. Special note: Poision still ridiculous against ogres...

I don't suffer from mental instability. In fact, I enjoy it immensely.

1) A mixed army of Orcs and Goblins and the Empire 2) Ogres 3) 3000 (3000 for ogres and 1500 for empire and O&G each) 4) Usage of Hellgheart killed both of the orc players shammen and wounded badly the Empire wizard. Sabretusks finish the empire wizard off!

4. 6 Chariots charged 10 gnoblars, annhilated them, and overran 1" too short. on my turn they got charged by 2 units of 12 Bulls and a Stonehorn. Impact Hits alone evaporated them.
Last turn, he got up to 12 PD with the Casket, I had 6 Dispel Dice. I hellhearted his 2 casters, both rolled 7. He didn't take any damage from the Hits, but he rolled a 5 and 6 for how many dice were lost. Nothing happened that magic phase.
His Tomb Guard charged some Gnoblars and 8 bit the dust from Trappers and his Prince took a wound. They killed the trappers and overran into my Mournfangs, but he was in line for a flank charge from 12 Ogre bulls(including my SM) and a rear from the Stonehorn. he conceded as he only had the Casket and 20 archers left and I had lost only Gnoblars and Sabretusks.

Getting rear-charged in my Ogre + BSB + Firebelly unit by 4 Necropolis Knights, while I was in a river, and under the effects of the no-bsb/gen ld debuff item. Needed a 3- on the LD roll to stay, got the snake eyes (huh... the irony of that eluded me until I typed it right here...), which ended up making my opponent concede (turn 4/5)

1. Lizardman 2. Tie 3. 2500 pts 4. With a unit less than 25%, not much time left, and 2 sabertusk at its tail, i could have won this game easily. The best thing was seeing the Hellheart cause a miscast on the toad, and blowing up 12 Temple Guard.

3 game tournament last week, was fun and placed 5th out of ten.
1. Tomb Kings 2. Ogres 3. 1800 4. Sabretusks completely dictated his movement letting me hit his lines where I wanted to without him being able to do anything.
1. Other Tomb Kings player 2. Ogres 3. 1800 4. A unit of 4 ME with AHW scouted in his backfield and accounted for 1 skull catapult, a unit of 6 chariots, and half of his skeleton bunker with all his characters in it. They only died after the curse got them from his general.

I'm fairly suprised with WoC being the race we've won most against, not so much with the Vamps being up there though.
Empire 0% win so far, guess it's the WM's.
Most Drawable armies are Dwarves and Lizzies.
Don't forget that it's only single player games that count and Ogres Vs Ogres won't be recorded for obvious reasons. You can still record them and post a little snippet of what went on if you like though.

1. Empire 2. Ogres 3. 1500 4. Unit of 3 Mournfang Cavalry (no banner, just a musician, but 2+ armour save) rolling over a unit of 10 Empire cavalry in one turn, then overrunning into his Warrior Priest general's unit and obliterating them in one turn.
Also shooting Ironblaster at his Great Cannon and hitting it dead on, wounding ... then rolling 1 wound.

Place it over a block of 30 Saurus, which is 1" from another block of 30 Saurus and (on the other side) 1" from 9 Cold One Cav with Scar Vet on Cold One and a Slann hiding 1" behind the block. Then I misfire. Luckily it scattered away from my guys. (Maybe, now I don't get the achievement )

When my opponent released three Night Goblin Fanatics from his 30+ horde of Night Goblins and all three came short of my Firebelly, who roasted all three with an almost merciful belch of fire. Then he sat down to munch on their psychedelic flavor while my Ogres formed an avalanche and crush the horde flat.

My Thundertusk doing nothing expect due to close proximity to my Ironguts saved them when they got flanked charged by some Chaos Knights and they all happend to be with 6". Love that ASL rule.

One of his wizards getting sucked into the void on its second casting attempt. Him giving me 2 buildings to place my Leadbelchers and Firebelly in in order to wreak havoc on his army (that he deployed on the opposite corner of the table). Him surrenduring on his turn 3. Was a GREAT game for the Ogres, and I only feel bad a little. (guy used to DESTROY me back in 7th when I played Woodies.)

1. empire 2. empire 3. 750 pts 4.the look on MY FACE when i failed charge 3 times and got shooted down by detachments who did stand and shoot every single time . second charge i failed with 1 inch, needed 8 and got 7. yhe third charge i got snake eyes when i needed 4 inch. my 2 unit of Bulls did nothing that game but my unit of 10 gnobblars did manage to kill 5 fast cav, go gnobblars!

However, having my gnoblars being the only unit that passed any of their break/panic tests (seriously, they successfully rolled on 6 seperate tests, including snake eyes for the one time it was needed ), that was both amusing and annoying.

1: Empire 2: Empire 3: 2500 4: Simply the fact that I met the winner of the tournament while I was playing a rather crappy list is memorable enough. Let's not talk about the result.
1: Bretonnia 2: Ogres 3: 2500 4: Getting the slaughtermaster + big gut unit charged down and killed t1 and still sneaking in an 11-9 win.
Final placement was 15/54. I'm happy enough. ^^

4. Definitly my lone lvl1 butcher, who had lost his bull escort and was down to one wound, manage to make a 10" into the Grudge Thrower. Which he promptly reduces to kindling over 2 rounds of combat, and is able to charge the Cannon on the next turn. Unfortunatly he only damages it before finally dying.

1: Vampire 2: Ogres 3: 2400 4: His turn 4 magic, I release the hell heart, his lvl 4 necro, and vampire lord, both roll dimensional cascade, and then a 1 and a 3 for the pit. later in the combat face, i destroy his knigt star, and skellie bunker. And that ended the game with a massacre for me.

My giant destroying 2 hoards of Men at Arms, one of which had a transformation of khadon hydra in, and losing no wounds in doing so. I should have taken more giants.

1: High Elves 2: Ogres 3: 1000 pts 4: Getting 12 PD and channeling one more (I know you can't have 13 dice but that's still 3 6s in a row) in the 1st magic phase and not casting a single spell because it was pointless . Otherwise it was a pretty straightforward game, Mournfangs destroyed a unit of PG and a combined charge of Ironguts and Bulls on his main block of Spearmen with Archmage meant that the game was over. His White Lions got delayed by my Sabretusk and they could potentially have engaged the Bulls if his Spear block had fled a low distance but we called it before seeing how he had only killed my Sabretusk and put 2 wounds on a single Irongut.

1: High Elves 2: Ogres 3: 1500 4: My Slaughtermaster with Glittering Scales and Fencers Blade really shined after his Gutstar was destroyed and he rallied. He got some critical spells off, killed the ennemy's BSB on the last turn to turn a draw into a win. His 2 units of Swordmasters and his 1 unit of White Lions really gave me a lot of trouble.

1: Empire 2: Empire 3: 2400 4: Nothing really, first time I play againts new empire. I do not like their Stank and hellblaster guns, those SOB's really hurts. It took me 4 boosted amber spear, a 3d6 fireball, 16 poisen maneater shots, and 2 times misfire for him to blow the stank up.. Maybe I was just unlycky..?

1. Tomb Kings (with a unit of Chosen and a unit of DE Cold One Knights in support) 2. Ogres, tabling! 3. 3,000 4. Discovering the usefulness of Death sniping spells against MC; also, the dice gods weren't very favorable to either of us, but my opponent made more comments about it than myself.

1. VC (with the entire army being proxied, only having Conrad and a Corpse Cart as the actual models) 2. VC... 3. 1500 4. Stupid freakin' Conrad... I've never seen him go Stupid in any game lol... The really awesome part was charging his Spirit Host with my Sabre, winning combat by one via the charge, and then flank charging it with Gnoblars; kept them tied up the entire game
BTW, I'm never using the Wizarding Hat again. Lore of Heavens in an army without much shooting, and rolling Wind Blast and Harmonic... Just silly lol

1: High Elves 2: High Elves 3: 1500 pts 4: On my first turn, I decided to cast a TOTALLY POINTLESS Trollguts with 4 dice, got IF, rolled a 4 on the table, killed half the unit of Ironguts and sent my Slaughtemaster into the void... I still managed to somehow make a game out of the bad situation and in the end, he was left with his spearmen bunker with characters and I had my bruiser BSB with CoC and 3 Ogre bulls left. I will never cast a spell just because I can EVER!

1.O&G 2.O&G 3.1000 4. Fight happened yesterday. I had a solid victory on turn 3. 4 MFs and an IB lined up to charge in and help 6 IGs with Butcher and two Sabres against 60 Night Gobbos with a Black Orc Warboss, BSB and Lvl 2 Shaman (both night gobbos) All I had to do was stay for one more turn. Lost combat by 1...everything ran. Sabre ran through MF, who then panicked, and I lost a whole IG due to the stupid "if you flee, your standard dies" rule....

After a dry spell, 3 wins, 2 losses. Pretty good.
1. Beastmen 2. Beastmen 3. 1000 4. A group of 3 Beastmen passing the insane courage check required to keep them around, which was swiftly followed by a brutal flank charge by a large group of Beastigors, wiping out my Ironguts and my General.
1. Beastmen 2. Ogres 3. 1000 4. Fulminating flame cage wiping out over half his large group of Beastmen when he decided to risk moving, followed by a Firebelly breath weapon attack down his Beastigor's flank, weakening them sufficiently for a successful frontal assault.
1. Warriors of Chaos 2. Ogres 3. 1000 4. Annihilating his Warriors with two successive Ironblaster shots down his flank, then loosing only 1 Ogre (and 20 Gnoblars) while tabling his force.

He also succeeded on an insane courage check to keep his knights in position after a brutal triple charge. This was then followed by a punishing flank charge from his second knights unit, and despite the insane odds, the Ogres also succeeded on an insane courage check (it didn't help though, everything available was invested in the fight).

Well I played my first game for over a year on Tuesday (Mixture of playing WarmaHordes and lack of oppenents at Gaming Club)
1. Tomb Kings 2. Ogres 3. 2000 4. My unit of 12 Bulls (including BSB and SM) charging and wiping out a unit of 30 Tomb Guard. TK player trying to cast spell to grant his Tomb Prince the ability to Heroic Killing blow on 5+ (Had item that already gave it) rolled silly on 5 dice without getting IF and I calmly uttered the words Dispel Scroll. His reaction was priceless :-)

Rest of the game was pretty much just a clean up..

1) High Elves 2) Ogres 3) 2000 4) A level 1 Firebelly killing 16 Spearmen with one breath weapon attack (shooting phase) then catching his Archmage with the Hellheart, then Irresistibly casting the largest Fireball, killing his Archmage and taking himself out in the process!
1) Skaven 2) Ogres 3) 2000 4) Killing the Hellpit in the first turn of the game, before it got to move! 6 Maneaters with Poison + Pistols + Flaming Banner took off three wounds, then the Ironblaster took off the last three. After it had been destroyed, his flanking Rat Ogre pack failed their panic test and spent the rest of the game trying to catch up. My opponent wasn't happy!

The turn after I couldn't kill the Heirophant with regular attacks (the Bulls had hardly any guys left) but my two Firebellies caused 4D6 S4 hits with their breath weapons, and the little guy was toast!

1. Orks and Goblins (all Nightgoblins) 2. The OnGs. 3. 1500 4. The scenario was watchtower, and in the end it was on my lone bruiser, sitting alone in the tower, to hold it. Had his giant terrible spider thingy just done one less damage to him, I would actually have won the game.

He neglected to kill my last sabretusk, who flanked his bastillodon, who was involved in a massive fight between my bull horde, the aforementioned bastillodon, a troglodon, his saurus oldblood and some skinks. The kitty was able to finish off the bastillodon, and thus got to reform as the only thing he was engaged with was slain. The trog fled off the board, the oldblood fled. The sabretusk charged him in my next turn. I got a 17" charge and he fled 2". That kitty paid back at least 400 points.

Lizardmen Ogres 2000 Nine Maneaters charging a unit of Saurus with Spears and killing all bar 3 in one turn!
High Elves Ogres 2000 My Giant surviving multiple Both Thrower shots, out manoeuvring a unit of Silverhelms, then flank charging a unit of Spearmen, killing 8 and running them down. Easily made his points back by being such a nuisance!

But 2 scouting ME took out 20 repeater crossbows in combat! Other 2 died on way in.
ogres are the boulder rolling down at you. you can side step it, run away from it or blow it up before it gets to you... but you can never ignore it.

4. What was the most memorable moment? (optional) I have this player shell shocked from the Hellheart. He completely reformed his Vamp bunker, turning them away from the main battle line just to try and get his vamps outside of 12 inches. I needed to roll a 3 and rolled a 6. He didn't even lose any casters from it but it did manage to take them out of the rest of the game.
Note: I got extremely lucky in this game. He misplayed his Hexwraiths and actually charged my IG bunker rather than just flying through and harassing the heck out of me. I expected to get tabled but instead got a major victory.

Ended up tabling WoC, they didn't have a single model left. They did get all of my guts, bulls and belchers but I had all my characters, maneaters, both IB left on the board.

1: Lizzards 2: ME! 3:3000 4: He ran a huge 50 strong horde of saurus warriors. Who I got a triple charge on, with my 2 stone horns and hunter on stone horn as well. Between impact hits and thunder stomp they killed about 24 reptiles. Same turn he fires like 40 poison shots at my 4 mourn fangs. And ends up killing all of them. I couldn't make an armor save to save my life.. great game.

Second my Scrap Launcher trying to hit 2 Vamp characters (vamp on mount and ghoul king) rolling a HIT and the rolling 2 x SIXS for killing blow netting both of them on turn 6 assuring victory for me. You couldn't make this stuff up! Amazing game!

1. Ogres + Skaven. 2. Ogres + Empire (me and my partner) 3. 2x 1500pts armies (3000pts) 4. Was doubles practice for up coming tourney. Went really well for us. Fun stuff like Ironblasters rolling 1's to wound and warplightning cannons fizzling out constantly. Was not a warmachine game lets say! Best bit for us was when I front and flank charged his main irongut unit with my own Gutstar and Bulls in the flank. Both got Ogre charge resulting in 8 wounds before combat! The addition of a mounted priest with the irongut unit allowed for hatred re-rolls allowing us to literally steam roll his unit in 1 turn!
On a side note Ogres love re-rolls!

The Stages of my opponents face from me first turning my Slaughtermaster into a Great fire dragon, then him getting an audacious charge off with his witch elf horde, followed by failing to dispel from transformation then finally learning my dragon remains special rules from my character *coughimmunetopoison And finally my breath attack and thunderstomp crippling his prized unit. He will not be making that mistake again

Tyrant and bsb smashing the hell out of 30 savage orcs despite the rest of their unit (7 guts) being killed by foot of gork and chariot impact hits before they got into the savages. Transformation of Khadon chimera eating another 30 savages (inluding a warlord). 3 Yhettee actually survived the battle (no cats did though...)
Step 1: Black coffee. Step 2: Guinness. Step 3: Play Ogres. Step 4: Return to 'Step 1'.

Game 1. 1. Dwarfs. 2. Ogres. 3. 2000pts. 4. Dwarf BSB only model left on the board passing his leadership roll of 6 in a heroic last stand!
Game 2. 1. Empire. 2. Empire. 3. 2000pts. 4. Managed an 18 - 2 loss against Karl Franz ascended. Better then a 20 - 0. I'm happy with that.
Game 3. 1. Skaven. 2. Skaven. 3. 2000pts. 4. Curses to Doomwheels that wont die! Is all I can say!
Game 4. 1. Empire. 2. Draw! 3. 2000pts. 4. Amazing battle loads of combat and very bloodly! Everything you want from a Warhammer battle!
