The Wait Is Ogre!!!

So how much did everyone spend today? I just dropped $337us today at my FLGS . Funny how GW prices are too high for armies I don't play.

I spent $310, after 10% discount.

I also got everything yesterday

Assembled 4 mournfangs, 1 stonhorn, 1 firebelly, 5 Ironguts, 4 leadbeltchers, 6 bulls, and 1 ironguts turned into a butcher for Lore of Beasts(the dragon skull from the mournfang box makes a nice shamanic mask for a Beast bull)


Starting to paint

I spent $150 US for the book, 3 sets of cards, Firebelly, Golgfag and The Slaughterer.  After I gander the book I will be looking to pick up 3 boxes of cav, a new Scraplauncha as well as a pair of Mammoxen.  I traded off half my Yhetees (6), but I may look to replace them.  I might also have to take a recount of my Maneaters if their rules look good enough.  I figure I'm probably in for another couple hundred either way.

@EG:  Agreed that other peoples' armies cost too much.

I spent £136.50 on the army book two sets of spell cards  ,Slaughtermaster,Ogre battalion and a box of Mournfangs.

140 Pounds on Wayland, plus 97 Euro for the Finecasts from the Mail Order. And maybe 25 Euro more on the Indie, if they still have the metal Tyrant. 

70 bucks yesterday for the book and box of old bulls on sale. After work today, going to spend 70 more on mournfangs and SL/IB kit.

Got just the book. I'm going wait to see if I actually need any of the new stuff. I will be picking up a few more saber tusks as cheesy one model unit diverters.

I'm in the same boat, except it is Tuesday for me because Monday is a holiday here.  I have a tracking number, and as of 3 AM this morning the package is sitting in a delivery truck in the same city as me waiting for "the next business day".  :-/

Meanwhile I live in walking distance of a Fine Local Gaming Store which has it in stock.

Random question, do you always get a tracking number with Mail Order orders or just if you pay extra for it? (They send via UPS, don't they?) Never ordered directly until now.

This is the first thing I've ordered directly from GW in more than 10 years so I can't speak for what they usually do, but I've definitely gotten a tracking number for THIS and they sent it FedEx.

I used the free shipping option.

After an absence from Ogres due to needing rent money, my employers (I am the manager of my FLGS), gave me a bonus this week.  Knowing I was an ogre player previously, my bonus was paid in FineCast.  I ended up with the Tyrant (I have the old LE), a Slaughtermaster (i didn't have before), Golgfag (had to sell my old one) and the FIrebelly (SWEET-A... model)

So of course, I had to pick up the Army Book and a battalion box (old one still on shelf, not new one sans gnoblars). 

Will drop funds on new plastics in a couple of months when I have some disposable income again (or they decide to give me another "bonus" in plastic).
