I think one of the great things about these plastic kits is that they appear to be compatible with the existing kits, to increase the variety of our units! Heads, arms, bodies, etc. Lots of conversion potential too!

Just noticed - there appears to be a second head variant for the Scrappy/Ironblaster.
I don't suffer from mental instability. In fact, I enjoy it immensely.

Doesn't even have to be a character, you could use him as a different looking IG/Bull/Leaddie Whatever, a free Ogre when you buy a Scrappy is more than welcome

The one thing I am disappointed about is the lack of ogre legs on the SH/TT sprue. It is supposed to be usable as a mount for the Hunter, and when they did that with the TKs they gave you a free model on foot to use if the beast died.
It wouldn't have taken a lot of effort, as they already have two torsos etc for the TT, so a single pair of legs would have been awesome.

Hey Sandals, there is an extra pair of legs for the hunter is you use the hunter model on the stonehorn. It looks like he may be sitting down, but that could be fixed with some green stuff.

Most likely, as I think I'll be making a Scraplauncher to complement the one I already have, unless the Iron blaster throws out templates as well, I'll have to see what it does. Thing is I think masses of troops are the hill our troops have to push the pork barrel up and anything that starts knocking ranks down at range is good for us. Cannon balls of course are only good against other monstrous infantry and monsters, and we already have the tools to deal with them. The second head on the Scappy sprue is good too, I'll stick it on the old metal Rhinox and then it won't look so different from the plastic.

Is it just me or are there 2 harpoon launchers in the thundertusk kit? Does that mean both thundertusk riders can be given a harpoon launcher?

According to Jeremy Vetock's comments at the bottom of the Iron Blaster / Scrappy WFB page: "The first few times I used an Ironblaster I fielded it as I would a cannon, which is pretty nasty. However, the Ironblaster can do more -is a move and fire chariot with a special Strength 10 grapeshot blast."

I like the look of the rider's and gunner figures, though as mentioned here, I can see me wanting to use as characters.

Yeah, but the helmet version of that gunner will probably be needed elsewhere, how can one resist to do a tyrant conversion with that head!

this is gen. smakin-dabum dis is our fishes fryer he does all da cookin of da fish, he sometimes gets carrieded away and puts it in his nasty soup of magics dis is my bestest friend he bonks me on da head and tells me when im bein stupedest his name is tiny he is my first his name is thumper i make him thump all of my food haha most recent game win against skaventabled

Of course, you could always give the ogre on the ironblaster a different head (perhaps a spare Leadbelcher or Irongut head) so you can use the helmet head elsewhere in your army. That is the greatness of interchangeable bits between kits!
