Ogres Confirmed For UK Games Day

From GW's website:

"'If you've seen the inside back cover of this month's issue of White Dwarf (WD379), you'll know that this September we'll be revisiting the Ogre Kingdoms. We have some amazing new miniatures planned for the Ogres (If you can call anything in the Ogre Kingdoms range a 'miniature' - Ed), and a fantastic new army book penned by Jeremy Vetock and Jervis Johnson. I don't want to give too much away as we'll be going into more depth in next month's White Dwarf, but it's packed full to bursting with glorious new artwork, fabulous Citadel miniatures and, of course, fiendish rules.'

September 25th.  So yes, it's after the suspected September 3rd release date.  Which implies a later wave of releases at Games Day.

No doubt some sweet finecast models, the fire wizzie thingie amongst some.

whew, as much as I hate waiting,  a release date after September means I can actually afford it when it comes out!
Also, were are pics of this fire wizard? I have seen many post about it, but are there any images?

Oh no... This month minecraft update, in September Ogres, in November Skyrim. Bye bye money. All I need is a Tau update on October to empty my bank account. Also this waiting is killing me.

quite frankly, i'm not too much of a hurry for september... because our 3rd daughter is due mid november, and i dont mind the nights i have left with sleep

Ogres, Gears 3, and Space Marine all in one month......well, there goes my checking account

I'm a student with a family so I have no money now. I don't have to wait till September for that. So like a small child with an imaginary friend, I will have an imaginary ogre army of big beasties. I will read the forums and pretend my army is real and be a vicarious gamer for the foreseeable future.

On the plus side my Stonehorn will actually eat my opponents models and roar.

Hmm, 2nd baby due November 5th, Just sold all my Skaven on ebay for a 3 figure sum of £.   Roll on October holidays, I might just get them glued before baby arrives. to bad I won't get to play...

Went into my local GW yesterday i have known the manager there well for a number of years i asked him about the release date of the new figures and book his reply was as follows.

" I CANNOT TELL YOU THE DATE. HOWEVER IF YOU COME IN TO THE STORE ON 3rd SEPT TO BUY A WHITE DWARF YOU MAY SEE THE FIGURES YOUR AFTER" Hint Hint

So 3rd Sept is the release date with more new stuff released at games day on the 25th

Makes one wonder , what is coming on Games-Day ?
