Warrior of Chaos ; the Tzeentch coming.

For this summer Build'n'Bash, i decided to go for a very low count army that is currently top tier (even with a poor general), so i went with WoC, with a heavy tendency for Tzeentch.

Due to lack of fund, even my list had to be tweaked to be as competitive as possible, with the least model purchased.

Here's my list ;

Tzeentch Sorcerer Lord on Disc.
Tzeentch BSB.
24 Tzeentch Warrior of Chaos with Blasted Standard
6 Nurgle Ogres with 2h weapon
2 Warshrine

Ogres! 

Yeah, Ogre are not the best unit, but i had 12 laying around, and figured that if i built them with a nurgle theme, nothing can stop me from using them in my OK army later on.

The theme will be Chaos walking through a city. So base will be cobblestone street, and i might come up with something interesting for a tray...

I'm already facing my first challenge ; the mage disc. Since i'll be using a model i already own (Dark Emmisary), i also need to build my very own disc.

So i see 2 option ;
the flaming disc (that's what i built in the past few days) :

What you guys think? I'm considering ordering the real deal, but for now i'll stick with this.

Also, the idea behind using ogre, is that i'll be making Ogres Warrior of Chaos as unit filler too (i'll be using 2 on 50x50 bases for the middle of my unit, surrounded by "small" WoC)

I think that is going to make an AWESOME Sorcerer! I would only suggest maybe just a flame or two to be a little bigger and maybe even "lick" up the robe of the sorcerer some? Kinda of like he is coming out of the flaming disc? I think that would look neat-o.

Also, are you going to paint the flames the traditional Tzeentch rainbow? I think that would be awesome too...

yeah, its gonna be painted like a rainbow... wlel, the idea is to have my army painted in blue, purple and white, and no other color.

I'm trying to go for a limited palette on that army.

It's kinda funny ....

Ogres was my first army, so painted kinda without real plan.
Dark Elf was painted "speed painting" style (well, except the hero of course)
Orcs&Goblin are painted as each model being a hero (which takes so much times, but so much fun).
WoC is gonna be speed painted, but with a new style ; limited palette... so no matter the material, its gonna follow the color from the rest of the model.

I'm almost ready to show my first WoC Ogre. I'm pleased with the result so far, even if the cap is a major let down... i'll have to paint it really well if i dont want it to look like too crappy...

the damn thing took me half a GW's green stuff roll...

i need to purchase bigger roll online asap...

There is a company that makes GS in a big double tube, and for the life of me I cant remember the company's name atm. Its the same company that makes hobby paints, templates, and other stuff. Its the same price as GW GS but you get, literally, double and a little more - and its just as good as GWs.

I went with Brown stuff, and quite frankly, i love the stuff...

Here's my Nurgle Ogres... Not completely finished yet, but pretty close.

You know what would look awesome? A nurgling living inside the mouth of the banner.
Nice looking ogres by the way. The hoof looks a little cartoony, but not so much that it ruins the mini.
