I have a very busy life and so dont get to go to the local club that often, also it is on the same night as football and as I approaching the 30 bracket I need football to stay fit.
I want to know what the forum rules are about posting where I live (The county I live in) and asking if anyone lives nearby and fancies meeting up for a game.
I undertsand the risks of meeting up with people who you meet online but I would be willing to drive to my opponent or arrnaging to meet up in a GW shop to battle it out.
I am just so frustrated that I dont get to play very often and in all my years of doing this have never played against an ogre army.
So what are forum rules on this?

By your local time you look UK to me which means you are on the wrong side of the pond to meet up and play myself. Sorry.

Yes, when I say I will drive to my opponent, there are limits. lol Thank you anyway though and if I ever find myself your side of the pond, I shall hunt you down...I mean look you up. lol
Am I allowed to post my area to gauge any interest or am I violating forum rules? I could give subtle clues about where I am but thought it best to seek permission.

You could also clink on the link in my signature. It leads to a sight that a Warhammer fan and programmer has set up to play "generic" fantasy battle style games online. No game in particular that might have a draconian Intellectual Property holder. Ahem.

I'm sure there's a thread with who you are and where your from somewhere on the forum.
At the very least you could put down your nearest few GW stores.

Chuck Norris was the fourth wise man and gave Jesus his favorite gift, a beard. The other wise men were so hacked off, they got Chuck Norris removed from the bible. Mysteriously, they all later died of Roundhouse kick related injuries.

Not too far from me then.
My local one would be either sutton or Walsall.
If anyone fancies a game at some point then pm me. My local shop doesnt open that often which sucks but we could either arrnage to meet there or I will travel within reason. haha

For the record, I live in Burntwood, Staffordshire, Uk. 5 mins away from where they found that Anglo Saxon Horde of gold!
I really wish GW would open a shop in Lichfield.

Not in distance but I think having all the urban area between us would turn a 20 minute journey into at least a 60 minute one!
I think a trip at some point in the future may be possible though
I think there is a club in Sutton (Sutton Immortals) plus you are on the right side of Brum to make it viable to travel to Derby to play at the Derby club on a regular basis.

Sutton immortals - Thursday night, Football training - Thursday night - there in lies the problem. I actually went to a tournament at the sutton immortals in October and it was great the people were fantastic and I won best painted and most sporting. If they had their club on any other night then I would definately go but cant miss my footie.
Yes we shall have to arrnage soemthing at some point and make the long journey worth it (3k Ogre Vs Ogre - no Cannibal totem agreement haha)
What is the club in Derby? I havent heard of that one.
