:D :D :D :D Not long ago i posted that my first ever game useing ogres, it was a loss against High Elves, not dishearted at all i played a game against a new opponent who was feilding dwarves. I destroyed them. utterly.

The game again was 1500 points but the mission was now meeting engagement.

My turn 1

my 9 bulls fail to charge the warriors. every thing else moves a little.
Magic 3 dice. My butcher casts bonecruncher on the iron breakers, kills 1 takes wound. casts bloodgruel and regens the wound.
leadies FAIL. 1 misfire and a 2 i take 2 wounds but kill a longbeard,the trappers kill a warrior. :>D

His turn 1 (this is where it goes soooo wrong.)
all combat units charge.
12 thunderers kill my belchers(this time they might have deserved it)
his warriors lose by 2 and fail their test and run and are destroyed!
the iron breakers loose about 10 men and kill a gut and a bit,they also lose but hold.
his longbeards win killing 3 bulls :shock: ogres run and escape destruction by the hateful little smurfs of death.

My turn 2 my large bull unit charges the 11 thunderers.
Magic 5 dice.butcher casts toothcraker on large bulls unit,bullgorger on the guts and bonecruncher on longbeards killing 5 causing panic and makeing them flee :shock: :o :shock:
my large unit of bulls kills off the thunderers (who were defending an obsticle)
my bruiser challenges his thane and kills him, the rest of the guts slaughter the ironbreakers and destroy them 8)

opponent concedes.Horay for ogres!

I still forgot about fear but appart from that i was very happy.

bravo!  made a good comeback!  seemed to be a dwarven down dice day, but we'll take that win!

A reminder to all, Luke found a way to beat the death star! so will everyone else!
Only problem is that slayer characters can't join any unit bar slayers otherwise nicely done, I like my ogres in this edition.

why do we always forget our fear????
I stopped forgetting about it when i made a unit run away on a terror charge (and it was lizardman with Ld10!!!). Well, ok, they rallied the following turn, but its always nice to get that kind of luck once in awhile.

yep just checked that, looks like a couple of things were done wrong but we still  had lots of fun.
i realy need to remember fear though...
