A lot of nice models The pictures are a bit blurry though, so it's hard to say about the painting. How did you do the slave giants skin? It's incredible imo!

I'm going to try to get some better pics before I post anything else...
The Slave-Giants skin (if I remember correctly):

Black undercoat.
Darkflesh.
Heavy dry brush Tallarn flesh.
Bring it up using Tallarn Flesh thinned with Bleached Bone with Ogryn flesh washes in between.
Light dry brush Bleached Bone.

How do you do the thick hairy gore? I love it!

that slaughtermaster gives me an idea to make mine more gory as well.

but was it easier to cover him in then it would have been to paint him?
i've never done gore before and am curious as to what ill be getting myself into.

How do you do the thick hairy gore? I love it!

I start with gore or scab red, then I mix a bit of static grass and fine grit with blood red. Putting it over the gore or scab red, after it dries (takes a while to dry because it's very thick) I use a flesh wash over the goriest parts and sometimes use baal red to tie all the layers together.

I ended up using lots of different reds and a few different washes as well as my "gore" recipe above. All in all the only part of him that isn't red is his one eye (Can't see it in the photos but I'll try to include it later). It didn't take quite as long as a full on paint job would have, but I wanted him to stand out from my other gory guts.

oops, I forgot about the slaughtermaster's eye. When i get home i'll try to remember to get a picture of that.  Would like to point out that he is rough to  photograph being all shiny

That BSB is really something!  It sets a new standard for standards.
