2: (8+, Shaman): Augument, Shaman gets +3s, +3a and a 6+ ward.
3: (8+/13+, 24"): Augument, move one model in the front rank 3d6", build the unit in the same formation, with him in the same place, can be increased to 5d6".

Probably good to have that written down, I don't have a copy of the new book yet so I may have to ask all sorts of questions about your army!

Here's the file with my army in. Do you want to do two units at a time to speed up deployment, or one at a time as it should be? Entirely up to you.

Mangler squig action!

http://uploading.com/files/833bda76/Sandals_vs_Oscarius%25282%2529%25282%2529.xml/

Some stats for the squigs, they're kinda like a giant fanatic:
Random movement (3d6) which is controlable unitil they hit a unit for the first time(Random direction after that). They treat all non-open terrain as dangerous. If they move into a building, impass or the table edge, they take a dangerous test and is then placed 1" from the thingie
No protection except 3 wounds, T4 and permanent soft cover (-1 to all "to hits" against it)
When it moves through a unit it inflicts 2d6 s6 armour piercing hits. You can't charge it, but you can kill it in the same way as a fanatic, by moving onto or through it. In that case you'll take 3d6 hits. :P

Well, over 3 games 4/6 have died before they ate something. One killed 2 kroxigors, the other made quite a tally. 2x units of giant rats (first a snack, the second suicided on it. :P), 5 Globaiders, 5 Gutter Runners, a Cannon and some random slaves. :)
They can do some insane damage if they are allowed to run free.

Trolls!

And a little gameplay question. Where are the "building borders"? The building itself or do the fences count as part of the building too? :)

I'm happy to play the building however you want. We could either say the whole thing is just a building, or we can play the building is surrounded by Walls. Up to you, I'm happy either way.

I'm going to do three at once to finish up. Gnoblars, Ironguts and characters. By my reckoning you have 4 units left to deploy, this should give me the +1 anyway.

Practice, and liberal application of the Ctrl key! What I can't get it to do is displace a R&F model when the character is Attached, so there is an extra rank of Ironguts not shown]

First, I have to explain mushrooms. :)

All night goblin shamans got mushrooms and they have to use one with every spell. They add a simple d6 to the casting total, but isn't a power dice per se (no IF, no miscast, not fulfilling mini 3 to cast) and if the die is a 1, the spell fails unless it's IF'd before the die were added.
Also, I roll a further d6 on a 1, on 1-3 the shaman suffers a wound.

I am so sorry I haven't updated this yet. I've had a pretty hectic week at work, and really haven't been at home long enough to sit down and do my turn. I should have posted something to let you know, but I forgot. Hope we're still OK to continue!

OK, stuff to do before Turn 1.

1: 4
2: 1

Stupidity, with re-roll if necessary
2d6 <= 9
1: 6 + 6 = 12 ... failure
2: 4 + 2 = 6 ... success

Good thing I have a BSB!!!

No charges. I am going to kill off MS1 with my Bulls by moving on top of it, you can do wounds for them once I'm done. Even if they panic, no one will be close enough to care when it happens!

The other unit will try and Swift Reform to go to 3 wide and 1 behind
Swift Reform for B2, with BSB re-roll if necessary
2d6 <= 9
1: 6 + 6 = 12 ... failure
2: 4 + 6 = 10 ... failure
Oh. So they manage to reform, but not move.

Final positions.

Magic Phase. My SM can only buff his own unit and B2 by the way.

Ok, wounding himself:

Str 6 hit on SM
1d6 >= 3

And the Bulls are buffed without taking damage. 2 dice left, I'll try a 1 dice Trollguts on the Deathstar, then a 1 dice Bloodgruel if that goes off. If you want to stop either of these with a scroll, just shout!

Trollguts
1d6 >= 3
6 ... success

Bloodgruel
1d6 >= 3
6 ... success

Does he get a wound back?
1d6 >= 2
5 ... success

So 2 buffs and no wounds. :-)

On to shooting. Just the scrappies, starting win No. 1, aiming at the big block of Orcs. D3 for Hit, 3 is hit. D8 for direction, 1 is North. D6 doubled for Artillery, 6 is Misfire.

Scraplauncher 1, at the Orcs
1d3

Artillery
1d6

Bang on target! I make it 23 hit in the middle of the unit. I won't post the rolls, but 5's to wound gives 11 wounds. They're Savage Orcs, so I doubt Killing Blow will have any effect! :D

The Second one at the same place.

Scraplauncher 2 to hit
1d3
2

Direction
1d8
4

Artillery

10" South East. Actually hits the Trolls! 4 of them hit, can't be KB'd, so 5's to wound gives 1 wound.

So, 11 Ward Saves for the Savage Orcs, and 1 Regen Save on the Trolls.

There's no combat, so your turn 2.
