So on the 30th of January I ordered my island of blood starter box.
After assembling all the models and reading the rules I was all set, except I was missing something.
An opponent. I called one of my friends who we often D&D 4th ed with and asked him if he liked rats or Spock's.
He being the nerd and "goodie two shoes" picked the High elves, that left me with the Skaven.
We played two games upon my table with no scenery as we wanted to learn the rules.
Looking back and after a few re-reads of the rules it hit me what a mess we made of the rules.
Oh and the High Elves destroyed the Skaven both games.
So after a few weeks of painting, modelling and hours on the Games Workshop site I found Ogre Kingdoms.
After writing several wish lists I proceeds to make my wish come true.
This is what turned up
