Neckbeard the Great's Guts of War.

original thread ↗

Tribe Name: Neckbeard's Guts of War

Tribe Symbol: Being a tribe of mercenaries, they have no unified symbol other than Neckbeard's great orange hair.

Tyrant Name: Neckbeard the Great.

Tribe Background Info: Less of a real tribe as a group of Ogre mercenaries banded together under the bright colors of their Tyrant's glorious mane, Neckbeard's Guts of War began their not-so-humble beginnings solely with Neckbeard.

An unnamed ogre of little respect and paunch, Neckbeard set out from his original tribe to seek new lands to feed upon. Traveling across the great mountains of the World's Edge mountains, Neckbeard, or more accurately 'No Beard' at the time, came across a minor Dwarf Brewery under siege. Thinking of nothing better than a good scrap and a chance for Dwarven Ale, No Beard quickly offered his services to the beleaguered Dwarfs.

Now, the Dwarfs were prideful, yet desperate. They accepted No Beard's services, but stuck him alongside a small band of Slayers. This fateful moment changed No Beard forever. Not realizing he was stuck with a group of suicidal maniacs, No Beard became instantly fond of the Slayers and their brightly colored hair. Sadly for the Slayers, No Beard's assistance in the battle that day allowed the Dwarfs a crushing victory against the forces that besieged them.

Left without the deaths they longed for, the Slayers moved on. Insisting that No Beard stay behind because he had not a "proper beard", the impressionable Ogre spent the next months at the brewery growing a formidable beard, the Slayer and Dwarf culture forever marking him. Greasing his hair and dying it bright Orange, the now dubbed 'Neckbeard' set off after his idolized heroes.

Sadly, to this day, Neckbeard has not been able to find the band of Slayers that changed his life. However, the time among the dwarfs as a mercenary turned Neckbeard from a runt to a mountain of an Ogre. Words of his exploits began to gather other Ogres to him, hoping to share in the feasts that Neckbeard demanded as payment for his mercenary work.

Soon, Neckbeard found he and his fellow ogres numbered into a sizable force. Without a doubt, Neckbeard was the leader of this new "tribe", and, in spirit of their mercenary origins, fondly refers to them as his 'Guts of War'.
Things happen, people die... usually when I'm around.
