Gaming- what are you playing at the min?

original thread ↗

Well, just thought there's not enough gaming talk going on here at the min. (as in computer gaming  ;))
I'm just wondering what everyone is currently playing and how are you finding it?
I'm not someone who hammers my console, but like to pick up and play now and again.

So, I'm playing Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood at the min and absolutely loving it, really liked the other two and this is even better.
The addition of doing a mission in a certain way to get fully sychned is great and makes you do things in a more stealthy way.

I also bought a couple of cheap games, Megadrive Classics, which has 40 old games on it which are still awesome, lots of nostalgia for me.
I bought a cheap Driving pack too which had Colin Macrae's Dirt and Grid in it, driving games are something I don't tend to buy often but I find I really like them and hammer them when I have them.

So what are you playing and is it any good?

Angry Birds on my phone ;)

But for a proper answer, I only have a Wii as far as consoles go. I did get Goldeneye for Christmas though, and it's awesome. I also got a Wii Fit, so that has seen some use recently.

I am working my way through the old remakes of the first two Monkey Island games when I am not painting and serving the wife.

I just got Empire at War and will spend my time with that one afterwards.

Metaphorgotten: A metaphor is a train, a high speed train that takes you from concept A to B, easily derails and serves overpriced sandwiches.
Well I started CoD:Black Ops in the new year, not doing so well, but since I haven't played a CoD game since W@W first came out I'm not doing too bad.
And I recently (as in just the last couple of days) found out that a web-based game I used to addict is back on line, Neflaria; it's simple and not brilliant, but highly addictive.
Fallout: New Vegas for me.

Well, it's installed (2 weeks ago).....

Not actually got around to playing it yet!
Little known Ogre fact No. 26:

The so-called 'Great Migration' was in fact a retaliatory invasion of Cathay.

But no-one tells an Ogre he's going the wrong way....
Finished assassins creed brotherhood on christmas day.
I loved it, though it was a bit buggy - more buggy then Assassins creed 2

Now playing Gran Turismo 5 and loving it

Now all we need is the 7th edition rule that said if the models are killed they don't get to fight and we WOULD be a broken army! lol

To be fair, the Asassin's Creed series is one of the few things that's tempting me to get an xbox...

I've been with the Elder Scrolls series since Arena. I'm still putting lots of hours into Oblivion, and occasionally Morrowind. (Sadly no more Daggerfall) And ready for Skyrim in November!
Not much of a console man myself.  I enjoy a keyboard too much  :D

At this moment I'm jamming Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (I'm so glad they moved away from the storyline thing and moved back to just plain racing game)
Also cruising with Splinter cell Conviction. (still early in the game so no evaluation yet)
Last but not least I just bought Total War: Shogun 2 (Can't wait to get home and install it)

I've been a Total War fan from the very start.  Wasted hours of my life on Shogun 1 and that was just awesome sauce in a 3 cd case  :P  Didn't enjoy the latest Total Wars that much (Empire and Napoleon) they were a bit of a disappointment.
There is only news.  There is no good or bad.
Final fantasy 3 got released on the iPad.  It's a total revamp and looks/plays great.

Best Hellheart Result - 3 Dead Vampires + change
Let's see...

Pokemon White and Black are actually pretty popular at my school and I have almost been flawless thus far (10-1 against friends).

Fire Emblem has sucked me back in, going to try beating it now, since I was stuck on the last mission.

Gotcha Force is always ridiculous fun and I put in an hour or so when I can.

Pokemon Crystal has decided to pull me into a Nuzlocke and I am doing alright.

I play way too many video games...

My Blog

LA Noire, Chrono Trigger (Wii) and Brink.
Things happen, people die... usually when I'm around.
Currently playing Brink.  It's OK, nothing special.

E3 is coming up soon! :D
Currently playing on PC:

Deus Ex: human Revolution: nice game, but some little thingies that bug me in it are: Hacking too easy, some augments cost energy and that you can only recharge one energy bar even if you had them all upgradet..

Warhammer: Mark of Chaos / Battle March: Started to play this one again, had the sudden urge to start and rampage the enemy on the fields into mince meat. :pp

Dawn of War II: Retribution: Online gaming, Tyrants ftw!

Space Marine: Story mode pure epic and online battles even better. :DD Only loosing my mind with the 'snipers' when I try to get some kills for my meltagun and combat knife. >_<

Currently playing on Xbox:

Bioshock 1: just loving it, cant really say why. :D

Fallout 3 / New Vegas: went through, but replay experience is always good, when trying to start with different stats and perks and so on. :DD

Assassin Creed II / Brotherhood: Went through, loved those games and waiting for more. <3

Viking: Battle For Asgård: just palying this through again and again...the epic battles in it and the viking theme just hits me to the guts like a comet of casandora hits my opponents ranks. <3
