Both the black Orc Warboss and the orc shaman have now been painted, adding another 560 points (approx) to my painted pile.
I know I'm being a bit rubbish about getting pics up, but that takes time and I'd rather be spending that time doing more painting at the moment. I will try and get some done in th next few days though.
I have, however, made an excellent advance in another field - army transportation! I knew that with the unit fillers in every unit in this army that packing it away in a case would be a non-starter. With approx 200 models in the army, getting everything out and packed away would be a pain. As a result, I magnetised the movement trays and decided that all the units would be stored on their trays.
This meant I needed to come up with a box big enough and a way to ensure that the units themselves didn't slip around. With an under bed plastic storage box, a cardboard box, a metal sheet and some corrugated cardboard, I've managed to structure storage that will hold the nuts in place while allowing me to stop every loose model from slipping around as well.
This has turned out really well and I can now pack and move this army in safety.
I've made a start on the chariots and hope to get half way with both of them this evening....but I may just start the big uns unit instead - I know what I'm doing with the orcs so it should be fairly quick to do them, and I event decided on a painting scheme for the boars yet.
The models for the mangler squigs didn't arrive today, but I hope they will get here on Monday or Tuesday, allowing me to get those units built. I'm rather looking forward to that
