dizzy's new vc blog!

Hey guys ive just started vampire counts and some of my new toys have arrived.So basicaly ive always wanted to do a army blog of some kind but have never gotten around to it so im doing it now!

My main reason to start my new project was to try and prove all the nay sayers wrong. how a fair amout of ex VC players have moved on entirely has amazed me these plays are are strangely starting high elf and deamon armies

While I was picking up some supplys for my new project at my local gw store I was "advised" by a few gamers that I was wasting my money are VC are now unplayable.... Lunacy of course.

(That plus i really needed a excuse to start another army hehe)

So i thought i should start off by showing you what I have to begin with.
3x10 Mantic Ghouls
1x20 Mantic Skeletons
1x10 GW Grave Guard

I know Ghouls are the stonger of our core choices and i do plan to have a lot of them, still I want to run Skeletons its not a VC army with out them imo.

I'm aiming for a nice looking army which is competitive enough to take to local gaming scenes, and just have fun with friends and other fun seeking gamers.

No army is unplayable if you know what you are doing, and anyway its not always about winning.
Mantic skellies are cool, not too struck on the ghouls though think I prefer the GW ones.

Welcome to the Stronghold.
Nicely painted minis, but the moldlines stick out like a cancerous thumb.

I love undead for the kings of war miniatures, got an army myself and you hve got to agree they are extremely cheap for such huge armies it's so good!

These look really good.  Did you dip the Ghouls?

I do like the Mantic Undead range.  I hear early next year they are bringing out Orcs and Goblins.

Really? That sounds awesome, hah i was thinking about getting dwarves aswell but now.............! That will be great, but i will be getting some dwarves anyway because i'am getting the boxed set Mhorgoths revenge
