Every army needs a good story or saga. I think this helps me stay on the path, so I don't lose interest in my army projects.
The story of the Iron Tusk tribe.
The tribe emigrated to the ancient giant lands, were there first tyrant stumbled over a old skytitan castle. They started to carve out there kingdom and for many summers and winters the Iron Tusk tribe has fought and prospered in there new hold. Over the years they have kept rhinoxes and there flock have grown strong and big like there owners. In return for shelter and protection the rhinoxes gives the tribe food, mounts and hides.
The Iron Tusks are very religious and on feast days they fead the Maw with great portions, they listen to there guts and butchers. Because of this only chosen ones gets to carry the tribe standard. Brak the blind bruiser is the chosen, even doe he is weak sighted he know were to bite and strike. The butchers says that the Maw is his eyes and shows him the path.
When it comes to war the tribe love nothing more then to swing there clubs, charge with there rhinox cavalry and set there slave giant lose.
The Story of Grubark the Tough
He is there Tyrant and he tries to lead them to food, riches and glory.
Since Grubark took control of the tribe, trading has gone up and more and more ogre runts have seen the world. Grubark was a maneater back in his early days, but his path changed when he returned to his tribe.
His tribe had been through conflict. So they was but a shell of its former self. Grubarks father, Crullsk Iron tusk had been mortally wounded by his bruiser Dragh. This was almost the end of the tribe but Grubark fought against Dragh and his tribal brothers for the old tyrants place. After uniting the tribe and eating any who would oppose him he started to choose new Ironguts and bruisers.
Grubark has succeeded in many quests and trials. One of them was capturing of a giant that had wandered through many kingdoms and met his end by his fists.
Once again the tribe is ready for war. Grubarks brothers stands behind him and they can´t wait to use there clubs for him and the Maw.
