2 units of Bloodcrushers on juggernauts with herald in each
20 bloodletters
20 more bloodletters
5 hounds
5 seekers
5 furies

first game was normal pitched battle.  we deployed all the new terrain stuffs but nothing came into play much surprisingly.  I apologize for getting a little sleepy, so i will just run down the highlights.  I was able to stall a bloodcrusher unit for 1 turn with some gnobbos & a flank charge, which also got in the way of a bloodletter unit.  They might have held forever, but I made a big mistake by moving my general too far from them or they definitely would have held much longer.  With that whole side of the board slowed with 1 gnoblar unit, I was able to secure the other board half pretty easily. I ran my general alone this game and he tried to tarpit a unit of bloodletters alone, but lost a combat by one and fled and got cut down.  meh.  those bloodletters got mopped up next turn though. =) My bulls ate through his hounds and the other unit of bloodletters with help from lots of gut magic.  The irongut unit killed everything they touched including both units of bloodcrushers before game end.  His bloodthirster did some damage and killed both scrappies and a unit of bulls.  his seekers killed both of my gorgers.  At game end he only had his thirster and I had one bull unit and the gut unit with the heroes.  I won by a couple hundred.

The second game we rolled the battle of the pass where we basically played the board longways.  This game I was able to get just about everyone in on charges on turn 2.  My tyrant soloed the bloodcrushers and drew the combat and was able to hold up 2 turns to wait for reinforcements.  My bulls flanked his seekers which had gotten tied up with my gnobs in turn 1 and routed them.  My other unit of bulls beat a unit of bloodletters down to about 5.  My scrappie failed a charge on his furies.  They charged on the following turn and won the dang combat and ran down the poor scrappie.  My ironguts charged his other bloodletters and whipped them soundly.  Gut magic was extremely useful on my turn.  He spent all of his power dice dispelling my buffs so I took some beatings on each of his turns. My leadbelchers and butcher went after his wizard and got in range.  I cast gut magic missile on 2 dice and rolled boxcars and took some wounds on the unit and lost all my power dice.  Then i shot with the lead belchers and got the last leadbelcher to one wound with a misfire, but i let his nice little wizard live.  pretty funny stuff.  i tied up his other unit of bloodcrushers with more gnoblars and then flanked them with the ironguts unit on turn 3.  So after turn 3, I had tabled his whole army except the bloodthirster who had just been charged by a unit of toothcracker stubborn bulls.  I was able to get another bull unit in his rear turn 4, but he just kept killing them and I kept scoring 0 wounds.  He would continue to dispel my buffs in his turn and mop the floor with me.  I finally charged in with a scrappie and the ironguts on each of his flanks in turn 5 and the bloodthirster went on to kill all of them too.  His army killed nothing but the bloodthirster killed 2 units of bulls, a unit of guts with BSB and SM, and a scrappie all on his own.  Turn 6 i turned and ran everyone away and won the game by about 500.  I sure would have liked to crush him, but I was all out of ideas.

I obviously have a big problem with killing big nasty monsters in my list, but other than that I think it is pretty solid.
Not much use for gorgers against daemons i found.  scrappies have great potential but misfired 3 out of 7 shots they took and whiffed in combat.  I sure did want a killing blow on of those bloodcrushers too.

My ogres are 3-0 !
if you kill everything but the Greater Daemons and still win, you're not doing bad.  don't change a thing.

and smart generalship getting out while the getting's good.

that's the magical problem with dwarves and khorne armies.... all they're gonna do is dispel and they got a huge boost in dispelling RiP in 8th.

nice report, now get some sleep.
