BSB ideas wanted

Hello all. I just finished up converting up a BSB bruiser (with the help of a kabob skewer) and I need some ideas of what to paint on the banner itself. The main color scheme of the army is red white and blue (patriotic I know) and the battle standard is made up of two banners, one on top of the other.

Suggestions would be helpful, and pictures will come if needed.

Two takes on historic flags might be neat - like a cannon-torn 'dont tread on me' below a stars-and-bars (I'm thinking something musty-museum quality)

Ok. i did a stars and bars for the lower banner and that turned out really well, now I need to get an idea for the upper flag which is longer (the banner for the bloodletter daemons)

I'm liking the idea of the historical flags though.
