How many games do you play where table quarters actually come into the equation? With Ogres it very much tends to be win/lose big.
I end up with a lot of Draws usually not in my favor. In those cases sometimes keeping 100 points from my opponent was what made it a draw.

I don't get this whole, "Leave the Gnoblars in the dust..." idea. If I move anything other than bait forward 12" on turn 1 it is getting charged by Cavalry. This means the important units move 6-8" so they are far enough back there isn't any EitW going on. Guess how far Gnoblars move(when they don't bicker).
There is a lot more than Giants that gets annoyed by Gnoblars. I've taken out Zombie Dragons, the riders of other dragons(DE lords relying on the reverse ward save particularly hate Sharp Stuff), Eagles and other march blockers, anything on a hill.
In fact I tend to stick hills in the middle of the board.
1. Means 1 less hill in a deployment zone(with the way we do terrain)
2. Blocks LoS
3. Anything that steps up on it allows my Gnoblar Fighters to toss 40+ shots at them. 1+ save Chaos Knights groan when pelted by Gnoblar Fighters.
40 shots at 5+=13.33333 hits
6+ to wound To4=1.48148 wounds
Sure he saves on anything but a 1, but when they roll that 1 they curse as a single Chaos Knight is expensive as the whole Gnoblar unit and that is with NO upgrades. When it is something like Fast Cav the Gnoblars can often kill 1-2 fairly easily and then often triggers panic tests.
Gnoblars can also be used to tie up units if the General is near enough. Charge Gnoblars at Fast Cav that is moving around to flank you and now he has to decide if he really wants to run away from Gnoblars or risk them actually killing one of his models or tying them up from doing what they need to do.
