Hi again ,
As usuall Always something new " well" in a game that was being played a butcher was three inches from a unit of three bulls does the butcher get the look out sir rule? Myself an ogre player doesn't it have to be four or five models or more to benefit from the rule or do we have a special circumstance? Minimum for us in a unit is three or am I missing something? Leadbelchers is two.....

butcher can't be targetted by shots if he's within 5" of another unit as long as he is not closest model.
lookout sir rolls only apply to a hero(champion) already in a unit.

With regard to the Look Out Sir! rule, though, it only works if he is actually in the unit, and the unit has 5 or more models (or a lookout gnoblar).

He can't be targetted by 6th edition, but when 7th hits he can be regardless of closest or not, though LoS is still in effect.

No.
"Look out, sir" only works when the character is actually in the unit.
Myself an ogre player doesn't it have to be four or five models or more to benefit from the rule or do we have a special circumstance?
"Look out, sir" is 5+
rank and file models (or 3+ if you have a Lookout Gnoblar).
If you are standing outside a unit, it needs to be 5+ models to give you any protection from being targeted.
