Apologies if you experienced any downtime on the 21st, it was caused by a problem with the renewal of the ogrestronghold.com domain.
Basically the renewal payment couldn't go through to the domain host because my old credit card was on file - doh!
Everything should be sorted now, the Stronghold domain has been successfully renewed until October 2011 :)

Woohoo! I have to admit, I was terrified when the site was down earlier (I may have called out aloud, even, when I tried to visit it earlier). But you're awesome, Hragged. Love the site and all you do for it!

This isn't the first downtime I experienced, so I didn't panic, but it is a reminder what a nice community we have, and how much we would miss it if it were gone. I want to add my thanks to the others for how you keep this webside up technically, financially, and creatively.

Thanks for the info H! :) I did worry for a bit. Not majorly, as Forgottenlor said, not the first time down-time has sturck. Thanks for all the work and the cost you put into the site mate :)

Phew,

Much consternation ensued here. I thought poor old Jambodini was going to explode- None of his experimental kingdoms of ind army is backed up- such is his trust in the stonghold. If only he was as worried about his GCSE coursework!

..and big up to the overtyrant for all his effort and expense on this site whithout which, it is now clear, my family would disolve into gibbering wrecks.

I think most of my worry about the downtime is just that I don't know anywhere else to go, either to keep in touch with all you fine people, or to discuss our favorite large, violent eating machines. Whose experience would I be able to try and learn from then?
