The Potbellies Tribe

The Potbellies Tribe is led by Tyrant Bour’Gondy, a once promising Bruiser of the famous Feastmaster Tribe .

During the Halfling Revolt of 2502, when the Mad Count Marius Leitdorf of Averland invaded the Moot , messengers were dispatched to the Feastmaster Tribe requesting assistance. The moment the Feastmaster Tribe migrated back towards the Ogre Kingdoms a part of the Tribe did not wish to leave this promised land of culinary exquisites. With the departure of Blaut Feastmaster himself, Bour’Gondy claimed himself the title of Tyrant of the Potbellies Tribe.
The Elder of the Moot , Hisme Stoutheart , smelled a good deal as any and cheaply profited from Bour’Gondy’s wish to be acknowledged as civilized citizen of the Empire and appointed him to Field Marshall. With an eased and pleased appetite the Ogres lead a Nomadic existance patrolling the borders of the Moot relieving halfling rangers and sheriffs from duty at regular intervals. Border skirmishes with the Stirland folk have declined dramatically with the presence of the Potbellies Tribe . Due to a tolerant attitude from both sides within the Empire the Potbellies Tribe are often employed as dispensable mercenaries resulting in their behaviour acting out like official State Troops from certain neighbouring Imperial Provinces.

As a young Tribe that has not yet earned it’s infamy the Potbellies Tribe are destined to achieve a notorious reputation soon enough amongst the Old Worlde folklore. What better way to ensure the safety of your convoy by hiring the most brutish brigands as it’s escort? One gets Bour’Gondy’s personal garantuee that half of your caravan will arrive. One is also aware the other half is destined to end in his belly!!!

I'm quite fond on fluff and I hope I've contributed a nice short story with my Tribe within the bounds of our Warhammer World.

For my painting scheme I went completely 'Classic', I wanted my ogres to have a 'realistic' GW feel.. For what it's worth.
For people into Empire Fluff and Funny names... I've tried some 'classic GW' humor naming on my characters & Maneaters.

Also, the Maneaters all come from different Provinces of the Empire (with correct colours) or far parts of the Warhammer World.

My only regret is that I've put all my efforts concerning (converted unit) on my Rhinox Riders and they're hardly allowed on tournaments
so I have to leave them big boys home most of the time. I can assure you the weapon used by my Bull Rhinox is made of 4 different Ogre Weapons
and can easily be imagined to hit Dragons, Giants and the like.

I wonder if you guys can pick out all fun stuff with naming with their double or triple bottoms...

Maybe this can give a more general feeling of my Tribe together...
