Hunter with Great weapon ?

Can a Hunter use a mundane Great Weapon? Its option page doesn't mention he can take one but it says he can have up to 50 points worth of magic items which includes magic weapons. So if I want to equip him with a GW, I have to buy him the Tenderiser or Siegebreaker, right ?

Right. If his listing in the army book does not have the option for him to have a mundane great weapon then the only way to give him one is with a magic weapon.
