Righto, figure I should build up a gnoblog for these boys, and maybe I can keep myself motivated enough to make more progress than I am with my vampires. (Probably not though)
Currently I have a few variant lists sorted (seen in the army list forum somewhere).
I also have all currently required models purchased, since I got my Daemon Prince for my birthday today.
And for a size comparison
This bad boy stands 70mm from foot to head, 100mm from the top to bottom of wing, and each wing is about 30mm wide.

After all, painting 100 night goblins is something you do in the morning just before you are off to work.
And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.

Its a model from Mindstalkers, an Italian miniature skirmish type game (I think it is skirmish based).

The current DP is on 40mm base correct? Is it just me, or does the new one look like 50mm base in the WoC book? The model I have comes with a 50mm base, and I don't know which to mount it on.

This discussion came up a while back... IIRC the general consensus was to go with 50mm

What colour scheme is fitting for a DP of Slaanesh? I don't have a scheme for my WoC yet, so this will be the centre piece, defining the general scheme for my whole army. Suggestions?

Slaanesh tends to have purple, pink, light blue or something in that direction. So That might be a nice direction. Especially not the hard blue, yellow, red or dirty green/brown as they are for the other gods.

Now all we need is the 7th edition rule that said if the models are killed they don't get to fight and we WOULD be a broken army! lol

I would go whit ewith a hint of pink (ie pink undercoat and white above, obviously with a few layers inbetween). And I would say he goes on a 40mm base, since he is unit strenght 3, and that is the usual base for them.
Things to ponder:
If 'pro' is the opposite of 'con', does that mean 'progress' is the opposite of 'congress'?
Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?
Isn't it a bit worrying that doctors call what they do 'practice'?
Why is a boxing ring square?

My Slannesh scheme uses bright silver armor with a gold hint to it and a purple/blue cape (that's for the warriors). it looks a bit tzeentch like but if you use more purple and gold it should come up more slanneshi.

So, some photos. It's not so much that I haven't been making any progress on this army, more that I haven't had the inclination to update this gnoblog or photo the army in good light. Tonight, after taking apart my camera and fixing it (kinda. Zoom doesn't zoom any more, but at least there is an image) I decided I would take some photos of my sorcerers of slaanesh that were assembled today.
So, 3 sorcerers of slaanesh on steeds of slaanesh
All obviously from the Lord kit, with different conversions using chaos warrior, marauder horseman parts, and even the icon off a random space marine that I found at a bits night.
Currently, I am enjoying playing a list with 3 lvl 2s, 3 units of 5 Slaanesh Knights, 3 units of 5 hounds and 5 units of 6 Slaanesh horsemen with flails and throwing axes at 2000pts, with another couple units of horsemen and an extra 3 hounds thrown in at 2250pts.
What are peoples opinions on this type of list? I know it is an all cav list, and that is not so friendly, but to me the list doesn't actually feel that bad. Its not like I have unkillable frenzied nurgle knights, nothing can ignore terrain penalties, and yeah, I run out of arguments.

The list doesn't sound to terrible to me but it strikes me as a bit boring. Then again I am not a Slaanesh fan.

Nah, the Slaanesh magic is fun, and the main aim of the army is to be able to support whatever the spell casters manage to do.
I also have a slaanesh list focused on a block of chaos warriors, but I find that it is so hard to get any decent number of troops without including marauders (which I don't like) that the army just feels way to small.

Looking good so far!
Though i cant mentally stave off the fact that the Slannesh sorcerer with the moustache reminds me of one of the guys from the Village People...
Just make sure you call him Glenn

So, I want to field my DP of Slaanesh, but I haven't had much luck writing a list that he is effective in. I am opening it up to you guys here, in the hopes that someone will come up with something new.
Restrictions: No marauder infantry No ogres. No Hellcannon
Can do: Knights Marauder Horse Warriors/Chosen Forsaken (would be an interesting modelling exercise) Dragon Ogres Hounds Shrines Spawn Shaggoth
Ohh, and Slaanesh themed all the way.
Cheers Ben

So, I have neglected this gnoblog too. What a surprise
Anyway, here are a few photos (phone only) of the Chaos Dragon conversion that I am working on.
In these pictures it is sitting on a 50x50 base. I have since decided to use a 50x100 HE dragon size base, as it fits better. Also, the wings are not attached, just sitting in their pinning holes, hence the supports.

They will get painted, but until I finish uni in November, it will probably only be a model or two to test out paint schemes.
