Since I may not update a gnoblog very often, I decided to make a simple thread. I will probably make a gnoblog once I have enough pics.
Anyway, I am making a throgg chaos list, which is basicly: Throgg 20 warhounds (in 4 units) 10 marauder horsemen (in 2 units) 3 chaos ogres 3 dragon ogres 2 DoW leadbelchers
Will be very converted. So far I have 5 built horsemen, and 10 unbuilt warhounds Anyway:

Ok, thanks for doing that corai, and to answer your question, I hate stupidity and the troll models. I know it seems a bit wierd, but I mainly took trogg for the BSB, fluff , and the ogre like stats. I would be taking marauder horsemen anyway, and decided that I like the ogre models and rules more than trolls, and I like the fact that I will start my ogre army with two units.
Oh and I realised how easy it is to assemble warhounds, as I have just made 10 including two 50 x 50 unit filler for flavour. Will likely take pictures tomorow.

Not liking Trolls and dealing with stupidity is one thing. Taking puny horse riding men over slavering flesh eating monsters is another. Throgg is the king of Trolls and monsters! What is a king without some kind of kingdom to rule over?!

At some point I will probably get a unit of 4 trolls to replace the chaos ogres whenever I want to, but at the moment I am just going to work towards this army.

Trolls can out combat rez Ogres with their vomit, and if you add Throgg's Copious Vomit you can eradicate lots of models. Its fun to puke on things! Give them a shot!

I don't know if trolls for OK would work, don't know that much about the fluff.

A friend of mine has said that if by a certain deadline my whole army is converted, painted, and based well enough, he will give me the staff only giant troll. It's huge and perfectly fits on a 40 x 40 base, and then I'm planning to give it to chugger from this forum (pro sculpter) to uberize it, but I haven't really talked to him about it yet .

I really like the unit filler piece of the hound standing over the corpse, the other one I'm not so sure about, but good work nonetheless. The lion rider is completely awesome. Thanks, the dark elf in the first one is losing his face, though it might not show well, and the other unit filler is supposed to show annimosity in the pack.
I was planning on putting a marauder on a lion again for my second horseman unit, but now I think I'll put him on a cold one since I'll have one spare anyway. Thanks for the idea.

The unit fillers for the hounds are neat. However the hound being bitten is not reacting to it. I would mod the head to be swiveling towards the biter in pain or something. Perhaps model the bitten hound 'off angle' to show he just got blindsided or something too. .02$

Obviously they are dragon ogres, made from black orcs and cold ones.

I like most of them. The blorc bodies on the cold ones are cool, but I think a different head is in order. The blorc armored head is just too orcy for me. Old metal ogre heads might work, but other than that I can't think of anything large enough to fit.

Those are some awesome hybrids! I sorta agree about the heads but I think they are badass enough to work. Be sure to do something (either with GS or when painting) to make the saddles look like armor if you can.

Interesting idea but I agree with Reg, the Blorc heads look too distinctive and not Ogre enough for me.

Thanks for the opinions but I quite like the heads so will keep them. The saddles will be painted to look like plate armour, so hopefully look fine.

Ahhhh... Never thought of the black orks+Cold ones as DOs. (though neither model was out when i made mine) Look very cool.
Sorry, got to agree with the others, the heads are very orky. Maybe if you just chopped of the tusks? The Ork icons too (axes and shoulder armour)

Managed to get some painting done, so here are my WiP dragon 'orcres' (see what I did there?):
Scales are pretty much done, but metal will have a few more washes and will be extreme highlighted in a sort of battle damage way.

The scales are nice (very nice in fact). But with metal armor, the models will blend together. The armor needs some other color to differentiate it from the scales.

With both the scales and the armor being the same color, the parts of the model will blend together. You want a contrasting color so as to easily identify the parts and make it look better (ultramarines with yellow shoulder pads, ogres with bright pants, green skins with red clothes). Red, or blue, or whichever color you use as your army color would be nice for the armor.

Ok, I understand. Just note that the metal is not done yet though, and will be a much, much darker silver when I'm finished. The main body armour will be black with battle damage, so hopefully the whole model will have a good amount of contrast.

And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.

Thanks everybody , a friend actually made the disk for me though . It's basicly two warmachine bases stuck together, a 40K base in the middle, and greenstuff daemonic mulch around the middle. Then stick a 40mm round base on the bottom, and add spawn bits.
And I had a game with the following army on sunday against chugger's ogres:
Sorcerer of chaos MoT, lvl2, disk, power familiar, dispel scroll, conjoined humunculos
5 marauder horsemen flails, muso
12 warrios shield, muso, champ
10 marauders MoK, GW, muso
5 hounds
5 hounds
3 dragon ogres great weapons
2 spawn
I won, not sure by how much though . Highlights include my dragon ogres panicing on the first turn but then we remember that I could re-roll and they passed, my sorcerer getting an infernal gateway on his fleeing deathstarish unit (with the help of a humunculos, the only spells I got were flickering fire and infernal gateway ), him rolling appaulingly on his panic and rally rolls (in the fourth turn his unit with butcher and bruiser would have ran off the board, but I let him rally because it would be more fun that way ), and me flanking his ironguts with my M4 frenzied marauders (with the help of some hounds )

What does this spell do? I remember my opponent's chaos dragon special character casting it on my 16 big IG unit with tyrant and BSB. misscasting from the hellheart and losing his ability to cast magic.

It is cast on a 15+, and it does 2D6 S2D6 hits, and if for the strength you roll 11 or 12, the unit pops . No questions asked.
Things to ponder:

I like the empire wizard (I think that is what it was) converted into a Tzeentch Sorcerer. I did something similar with my disc, except I used two 40mm round bases with a bunch of spawn bitz.
