First some background on my general: an exalted hero of tzeentch on disc who is equipped with a collar of khorne and the book of secrets:
Methil Flamecollar, once a champion of chaos unnoticed by the chaos gods was pillaging a village once inhabited by an empire wizard who secretly worshipped tzeentch. Amongst the rubble of one of the houses he found a book. He felt the power within and when he opened it, he was instantly sucked into the realm of chaos. He found himself amongst countless daemons of each of the chaos gods. He proceeded to read a line in the book, and before he could even unsheath his sword a flaming sword appeared in his hand. His combat skill, combined with this magical sword were enough to slay all the minor daemons around him.
This drew khorne's attention, and he immediately sent a dozen flesh hounds in to test this warrior's skill. He bested them all, and took one of their collars as his own. Trapped inside the realm of chaos, Methil decided to aid his new patron in capturing part of nurgle's garden. While slaying all the plaguebearers with his sword and burning the garden by casting the fireballs he mastered from the book, a strange form appeared, shifting in appearance until it was an exact copy of Methil himself. It seemed this changeling creature was captured by nurgle in one of his plants, and soon after releasing him from his rotting prison Methil heard a voice, which claimed to be tzeentch. 2 weird flaming discs appeared floating about. The changeling jumped on one, and Methil was gifted with the other.
As soon as he mounted the disc, it took him out of the realm of chaos. He could feel the power of tzeentch flowing through his body, but leaving the realm of chaos took its toll. The collar lost some of its effectiveness in warding off magic, and the book left some of its power behind. Now he's only able to harness a small amount of its former power, but it has proven enough in his last battle.
Since then, sorcerers have felt his power, and have followed him in his quest for immortality. Tzeentch still has his eye on Methil, and has blessed the sorcerers with some of his own power, including discs to further their goals.
This will eventually be an all-mounted WoC list featuring all 4 gods, and here's what I have painted so far;
my first complete unit: a unit of khorne knights (the red looks flat in the pics, I know, but it's a lot darker and shaded IRL):
the first marauder horseman of slaanesh:
and finally the first warhound:

Looks great, just one thing: The right arm of the marauder horsemen is slightly displaced. There is a very obvious distionction between the body and the upper arm. You see it at the picture from the back.
Painting is great.

And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.

Ok, now that it's daylight out I took the opportunity to take some pics of the khornies in the shade, because it seems a strong lightsource really ruins the paintjob on pics.

I had a battle again with the list last night, and somehow, chaos is all about ... well... chaos
First turn, my sorcerer lord miscasts when trying infernal gateway. I get the "take a S2 hit" with my infernal puppet, and even though I'm T4, it still wounds me
2nd and 3rd turn, it does 4 S5 attacks and 5 S2 attacks respectively
But in turn 4, my sorcerer lord miscast again when trying to cast infernal gateway on a unit of graveguard with lord mannfred in it. I rolled on the miscast table, and rolled a natural 12, which I decided to keep with infernal puppet as he was already at 2 wounds and didn't want to risk losing him. So I go on to cast it with irresistable force and get 7 ... S12 hits, such is the power of chaos . Needless to say his army began to crumble entirely.
Against an army with 17 PD, I failed to cast pandaemonium even once, which was kind of sad, but I'm glad about how it turned uot in the end.
Methil has proven himself to the chaos gods yet again in the battle, killing some annoying fell bats, and 2 corpse carts: one in combat - wish I had rolled flaming sword of rhuin, but I had to make do with my flail, and the other was taken down with a well-aimed fireball
It just seems that miscasting infernal gateway pays off. I was playing a game against DE a couple of weeks ago, and since it was the last turn, I decided to give infernal gateway a try with my lvl 2 sorcerer on 3 dice on a hydra. He miscast (yes, snake-eyes on 3 dice ), and rolled an 11 on the miscast table, which was altered to 12 by the infernal gateway

the head is the one that comes with the "new" khorne champion on foot (you can choose between this head, and the big khornate helmet)

Very well done. That robe really is quite impressive. The robe and disc are too close in color, they just kind of blend together. I don't know if you mind, but it's the sort of thing that bugs me. Some purple/pink in the disc would be nice.

That's actually what I was going for . I wanted the disc to look like it's changed its colors to accustom to its new rider.
There's still enough difference though IMO - the disc is darkest in front, which is where the sorcerer is lightest, and the back of the disc is light, while the sorcerer's back is dark.

It's been a while, but here's a long overdue update on the progress of the tribe; my last 2 sorcerers of tzeentch on disc.
here's the first one; a sorcerer who delights in terrorizing his victims instead of just outright killing them, which has earned him the favour of slaanesh, even though he was already marked by tzeentch
and now for the last one - the sorcerer who discovered a weird mix of magic and illness; plaguefire:
