Merc'/Vasq's Ogres for Hire.

original thread ↗

Hello fellow Tyrant Lords out there.
- Me and my fiancée is using Ogres in our armies, and I'll post our work here on this Topic.
I play the Chaos Dwarfs, and is mostly using Ogres' as Mercenaries and the WOC as my allied. Where Vasquez (Forum name on CDonline.com/VC.net) is (-at the point) going to have them as her allied force.

So here it goes: as an gentleman, I'll post her ogres first.

(Vasquez) Leadbelchers:

- This one I made, as an concept idea - and now it is a part of her VC allied force.

(Merchant) Maneaters:Well I got the Ninja Maneater as well, but many all ready know this figure - so I'll post a picture of him and his "Dog-Gnoblar-pet" if requested

- The only thing changed about this one is his head, and it is because of the theme in my CD army.

- This is my newist conversion, it started as an concept for an Irongut standard bearer - but ended up as my 3rd maneater.

- As said before, I was using the WOC as allied force in my CD army - but at the point I only have in mind of using the Dragon Ogres. And here is my first of 4 in the total.

Let me hear that you think - Cheers all  :D

After all, painting 100 night goblins is something you do in the morning just before you are off to work.

And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.
all those models are breath-taking!!! but 1 thing bothers me.. how can that tiny daemonic horse lift that huge ogre belly??.. that axe is so awesome!! that skull helment is superb! and that leadbelcher is killer!! great job! good work! those conversions are really good!
Thanks all, thanks alot :D
It is always good to hear that people like what you do, but breath-taking is almost too much - but again thanks mates :D

- About creating the dragon ogre, it was very simple - I really don't like GW's dragon ogres. And I wanna have them to fit in with the theme of my Chaos Dwarf (CD) army - the concept of having their faces hidden. And then I just looked around after fitting figures.

Ehm about the huge ogre belly and tiny horse body, Well it is a funny story about what my first Dragon Ogre and demon steed did together ;) (no well - I like my minis, and since this is a fantasy game - I'll use my fantasy to creat).

Cheers all :D

looks really awesome! you could customize the legs tough.. otherwise a good model! maby some horns to the gutplate and legs in a diffrent pose and some metal plate shielding to legs and then its a perfect model! i really like the orc ogre conversions its really creative and loogs cool!
Very good model indeed :) I love the brutish, savage look the black orc stuff adds to the model :)
