History Concerning:
Tyrant Bunsen, the Oblivion of the Woods
IC- Imperial Calander- This is the background for my second Ogre Army I am currently making.
IC 2202
During the Bretonnian Erranty Wars the Elves of Athel Loren kept to themselves, until the retreating Orcs breached he thorn-like walls. The Durthu awoke and pushed the green skins out of Athel Loren.
IC 2203
Thinking the threat of green skin had vanished the Elves once again left the Dryads to rid any intruders from their realm. Yet a few green skins survived, but smaller than the goblins that attacked a year ago. The Gnoblar; they came with the Orc force, but not as their sworn ally, they came with the mercenary Ogre, Bunsen. These Gnoblars were experts in survival, if in their mountain homes they would have been titled trappers and these trappers, trapped the odd Elf that stumbled into their traps.
IC 2236
Athel Loren is on the brink of war. The beast herder known as Cyanathair had been reborn five years ago and his filthy footsteps had tainted the ground he and his beastmen walked. Many young Wood Elves, sent from different families were sent to fight the threat, fell under the tainted axe of chaos.
The hidden Gnoblars tasted a small portion of what these beasts were capable of. The beastmen had destroyed an acre of what these primitive green skins called home but they didnt worry too much they still had three acres left.
IC 2237
The beastmen launched several attacks on Elf homes, but all were rappelled. The elves chased a few remaining beastmen over Gnoblar territory deep in Athel Loren. The shock upon the elves faces when they saw these tiny men stand up against giant Gors without fear surprised the elves. The elves that returned to their homes told the nobles about these green skins, and immediately a messenger was sent to the Gnoblars home.
The message read, Although you taint our lands a lot less than the warriors of Cyanathair, we do see you presence as a threat. Unless you know of a reason to stay we ask kindly that you leave. If you do not comply with these simple orders, you, like the beasts will fall upon our arrows.
IC 2238
The Gnoblars were guided out by an Elf noble; he thanked them for their help during many beast raids. And as they exited the forest, he vanished back and the woods closed behind him.
IC 2202
As they stepped onto Bretonnian soil after thirty-six years, the hundred or so Gnoblars returned to find that time had stood still outside the forest. In the distance they watched a regiment of Man at Arms run down a fleeing mob of Orcs. Soon an army of Ogres lead by Bunsen greeted these Gnoblars. Were the bloody ell you little bugger been ta? And ows come they is so many ofs ya nah? asked Bunsen. The Gnoblars had to tell well explain what had happened and how they were trapped in Athel Loren for many years, and on returning to Bretonnia time had progressed thirty-six seconds. And so the Ogres walked into the forest.
IC 2238
The Ogre walked into Athel Loren confident his presence would be accepted. Yet he was greeted with hostile Dryads, these Dryads recognised the Gnoblars and guided them to the Nobles household. I must say, never have my eyes focused on an Ogre before, greeted the Elf, I now of ya war with these ere beastmen! Ive fought gainst them before, and before, I beat em! replied Bunsen.
The elves gifted the Ogres with food and a place to rest for the night; these giant creatures could prove useful in the war. Next morning Bunsen entered the household and asked what assistance he and his army could be. You are to find a shrine of Chaos, lay hidden until its open, and fight these demons in the wastes. We cannot stray far from Athel Loren, and you are used to weather that the wastes holds.
IC 2255
Many years Bunsen was fed well until he found a chaos shrine. When a shaman opened a portal to the Chaos wastes the Ogres ran in, Gnoblars behind, and a few Eternal Guard sent by the Noble. The Ogres would make their stand and cause what damage they could.
IC 2267
The Ogres were dug in, some tainted by Chaos, but their resolve for Bunsen kept them from turning against him. Many of the Elves sent in had been tainted by Slannesh and wanted their own desires fulfilled rather than Athel Loren freed. Bunsen had release what slaves the Chaos had, and rallied them to fight with him (and on occasion have one as a meal, but anything was better than what they had been put through).
Lord Plagas, of the Nurgle banner sent a courier to Bunsen. Slowly being tainted by Nurgles Rot, Bunsen allowed this courier to enter his battlefront. The couriers message was that of death, and driving a plague-ridden sword into Bunsens back. Bunsen swung around and took the possessed humans head.
IC 2284
Only a handful Ogres remained untainted. And a handful of brave elves fought the temptations of Slannesh and the other Chaos gods side by side with these eating machines. The Chaos Ogre War coming to an end.
IC 2285
A portal to Athel Loren was opened. It was a fluke on the Ogres behalf, as the Shaman was actually trying to conjure it elsewhere. The forest was visible through the portal. The last remaining Ogres, Elves and slaves ran through. The gate closed. And left behind was the Elf Prince, Tramiel.
IC 2287
A portal to Athel Loren was opened for a brief hour, and during this time, Tramiel came through. His skin blackened, burnt through torture, his eyes white as chalk and three Slannesh Arrows rising from his chest, there he lay dead and following his corpse was the army of Bunsen, though not the army Loren remembers. The beautifully painted banners he and his men had earned through being mercenaries now rose high, with great black stars ruining their original beauty.
