Need help! Gorger + Hunter

Hey all Tyrant Lords out-there 

I need some help with the Gorger and Hunter models, and it is about their heads.
Are their head seperated from the start or is it apart of the body when buying it?

I hope you can help me

The Gorger heads are seperate and there are 2 varients.

The Hunter's head comes already affixed to the body.

Oh do anyone know a good way to remove the hunter's head without damage-ing the model too much???

The Hunter's head is really nice and would look brilliant as a head swap, I've never seen anyone do it and I think the reason for that is because it's too hard to do.

when in doubt, wrap the body in foam, clamp it to a fixed location and a Dremel circular saw will do the trick.  Worked wonders when converting Tyranid Red Terror & Hive Tyrant.

the foam keeps the clamp's teeth from digging into the soft pewter, and the Dremel has adjustable speeds of the saw for thicker or thinner parts to be worked on.

NOTE:  always be careful when using power tools, wear safety gloves and goggles.

Sounds to me like you want to give a Hunter a Gorger's head?  You may try using a maneater model instead, most (if not all) of their heads are already separate.

I know, but I is the body of the Hunter I'like - but if you know which one of the maneaters that wil lbe a sudable replacement them please tell me. because it is alot of work for a head replacement...
