Has anyone used the Dragonhide banner? Sure, the ice magic immunity may not come into play very often. But the re-rolls....
Imagine three Maneaters and the BSB with the DH banner, arm the Maneaters as you like, and we're talking serious damage to some WS 3 and T 3 rank and file troops.
any thoughts???

I have used it in one game so far (vs VC) and it worked very well. I am going to try it again this weekend vs LM in a unit of 'guts.

It might work well, but it is just too expensive in my book.
In fact I'm not fond of any of the ogre banners, save for the Bull Standard.
They all have their uses, but none of them are great.
It would be fun converting a dragon hide though...

Well, as far as the Dh banner goes, for it's high point cost only re roling 1's and only in the first round, not worth it imho.
