A small update.
I never really stopped working on my Ogre, but the motivation wasn't really there, and instead of screwing up a few model, i just stepped away from the paint pot.
Last friday i played a game against veteran co-worker and his skaven, it surely gave me the boost i needed to start working full time on my army again. We played for 2 hours and a half, finishing only 2 turn (i never played before, so he had to explain alot of things to me... twice).
Nothing is 100% finished, but its surely getting there.
So first, my test models ; my Bulls
- Warpaint arent gonna be really out of ordinary. My army will have half their face painted a different color per units, and that's about it.
- Base are about 90% finished. I still gotta paint the bottom, and put a good layer of snow to cover it. Basically, what i put on the base will be half covered in snow.
- Also worked on my first "real" blending on my dwarf shield. I worked with many thin layers of paint, but had to start over many times because foundation paint and standard GW paint work really differently, and it screwed me over a few times... I'm not 100% confident about it yet, so i'm definately not trying on bigger surface just yet.
- The Giant Head is my Standard Bearer.

My Bruiser/Tyrant.
- The lion head is just there to give me an idea of what it will look like, and if i liked the result. I think it will be fine.
- I also realized while playing my first game that this 2H weapon really isnt easy to fit between units, so i'm probably gonna try to think of some big base to put my lord on.

Butcher's base.
- Kinda hard to see, but its a cow with its side open, and two bird are gonna be placed around it, waiting for their snack.

First 4 irongut.
- Cold One's head is my Standard Bearer
- Skin color isnt final, its just the first stage of my skin work.
- Base are pretty much final, might just add some snow to cover over it, and that's it.
