It began about 3 years ago, when my younger brother left his Vampire Counts army over a shady house for a day too long. When a resident decided to join the Army, he took the little bastards along for the ride, for possession is 9/10 of the law (supposedly). As such, he invested in the Ogres, but made little headway. Then, working at the Game Room store under poor supervison and having access to enough paint and glue to fix Humpty Dumpty, I assembled and painted a portion. A few unique ogres took shape as jokes and tests of technique, Hambone the Bull, Patch the Butcher, and of course, my 12-layers-of-Bone-to-make-the-tusk-look-tusky-enough scraplauncher. Now, we slowly take turns building up the force, marching (a solid 12 inches) towards a glorious, brutal and hopefully hunger-satisfying future.

The Border Princes have begun their clash, and I've put myself in a terrible position. A gun happy Empire General to my South, and my current arch-nemesis the Dark Elves to the north. Years ago, those Dark Elves were mine, back when a RxBow simply could NOT wound a greater demon. When Shadowblade died if discovered. When harpies looked like they wanted to tango. Now they breathe their dark bitter wind at me, pushing my forces away from Tor Anloc. It's bad news, now his mages get an extra spell, its turn 3 and he's already taken quite an advantage. Across the mountains the undead stir, both vampires and the Tomb Kings shamble on, possibly in alliance. And farther still, lies another ogre tribe, that of my brother. I know better, he's certainly not to be trusted. Maybe I'll 'convince' the Empire of our mutual need.

After all, painting 100 night goblins is something you do in the morning just before you are off to work.
And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.

I'll write again when the sites back up...oh wait, here we go.
Reinforcements for the tribe! A slew of Ironguts have been promoted and are happily flossing with barbed wire while I wait to play another game. Also, the ever industrious Gnoblars have made another one of those ramshackle rhinox cannons. I can't wait to misfire both on the same turn, or to have them both angrily charge goblin fanatics in the heat of battle. Such is the way of the Thunderbeard.
